So I've been down lately because my best friend of like 12 years has become really distant. I began transitioning physically last year right around the same time she left her girlfriend (who I still hang out with) for the girlfriend's best friend (lesbian drama lol).

This situation caused complications as I was being pulled in different directions and trying to stay neutral, however I ended up spending more time with my bestfriend's ex because my bestfriend was literally ALWAYS with her girlfriend and still is constantly with her to the point she doesn't see her family half the time.

The thing that hurts the most is she lives on the same street as me right now and I haven't seen her in about a month and she never texts me and expects me to be the one to make contact but this new friend of hers is always contacted.

I feel like my transition has become a burden as I often get annoyed at mutual "friends" who make rude comments or don't use pronouns or tell people about my situation. Also recently I found out that she showed an old picture of me to her new friend which I am not okay with at all.

I dont know I just feel like I wasted so much time being her friend and now I have no one really.

Sounds like you just need to make new friends dude, it sucks, we often lose some along the way, learn from it, grow from it, move on to better things  and better people, ones that have time for you!

You should tell her that this has really hurt your feelings. A lot of times people don't know that pronouns and stuff really pains trans people. Maybe she didnt know the picture would upset you. Of course, if she did it maliciously you should just forget about her.
