How many times can you have your hairline lowered?

Hello,
I had brow bossing in between my eye brows and hairline lowering in August of 2013. I would like to get more of my orbital rim taken off and get my hairline a little lower. Can you have it lowered more than once? Also, I've noticed I've got a few white hairs growing in around the front of my scalp that I didn't notice before. I'm not sure if this is from the surgeries or just aging. Has this happened to anyone else?

Any information is appreciated!

Thanks :)

The best advice I can give is to ask your surgeon. I don't know your age (which may be the reason for the white hairs if you are older), but what you have to remember is that when your hairline is lowered, what is actually happening is that your scalp is being stretched and each individual hair is slightly further away from its neighbour. So there is obviously a limit to how many times this process can be repeated, if indeed it can in your case.

You may get an answer from somebody who has had it done and it has been successful, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would be successful in your case.
Quite simply it's best to speak to your surgeon.

Regards
Caroline

Its not uncommon. Your surgeon probably say it depends on your scalp skin laxity. Similar thing routinely done in multiple session hair transplant procedure where strip of scalp skin excised multiple time.

Ive had forehead advancement done at least three times, so answer is yes, it can be done multiple times.  Risk is mostly that you will have permanent lack of feeling in that area, but surgeons will tell you or should that this risk is not uncommon.

^Note: I am not in anyway advocating doing this as much as I have and if so take the proper recovery between doing multiple time, but it can be done.

Sorry but I have one more question about forehead reduction. What parts of the forehead bone can be reduced? Can the plastic surgeon go above the brow bone? My whole forehead kind of sticks out. The brow bossing reduction helped but my forehead still looks masculine. I would ask my surgeon but he's in Peru.

Thanks  :)
