Life is finally looking up - thank you all for sticking by me

Joe.

The title says it all. My life is finally showing a glimmer of hope. I have a job that I love, I work with amazing people who treat me like a guy. I get misgendered by customers, but my colleagues use the right pronouns and call me 'Mr Strong' and 'good lad'. I don't know if they know I'm trans, but they respect me enough to call me the right pronouns and treat me like a normal guy. I have also lost a lot of weight. I've lost over 9lbs and lost approximately 2 inches off of my waistline. The most important part for me is that I truly want to wake up in the morning. I no longer have the desperate need to curl up and hide from the world. I look forward to the next day which is something that I have not felt in a long time. Suicidal thoughts no longer occupy my every waking thought. I'm smiling more and my face hurts from smiling too much. I am finally living truly as myself and it feels amazing.

I want to thank you all for sticking by me through my dark times. I know there were a lot of them and I'm sure they'll come back from time to time but right now I am happy and I love you all.

Aww, that's great Joe.  I know what that feels like and it's great.  Remember, you're a young man with a whole life ahead of him.  There will be down times, but the ups will come too (and there will be many)  Live for those ups and be the happy genuine you!   :) :D :D :)

Sorry, I have to use a lot of smiles because I'm thrilled to see you happy. :)

I am so happy for you.

Your coworkers respect you because of you; they are reflecting back what you are emitting, good karma.

Joe.

Thanks everybody. I'm just so happy. I feel like I'm gleaming, I'm smiling all the time. I love where I work. The atmosphere is really good. I'm happy. I am truly happy. I'm sleeping better, I'm eating better. I have no money, but that is irrelevant now. I'm happy. I'm living as me. I'm myself now. Sorry, I'm just so happy.

I only just saw this, but it's really good news!  I'm happy for you, you're able to put up with me when I go on a rant, and you've helped me out a lot, it's good to see some of that coming back around and your life picking up.
  •

Joe.

Thanks Alex. You can rant away as much as you like, I know how it feels! Thanks again though mate
