A few years ago I heard of what I'll call an electric face mower.  It was designed mainly for the film/video industry ans a way of maintaining a chosen facial hair length for actors who are going to be shot over several days in scenes that all will happen at the same 'film' time.

This device works like a regular electic razor and can be pre-set to various lengths of stubble. It'll maintain, say an eighth of an inch of facial hair.

I think this'd be a great device to have when I get ready to begin electro, as I can maintain a consistent 'fuzzy' look at work, and wait to see if anybody notices the thinning.

A google search came up with nothing.  Anybody know of such a device?

Don't know of a specific thing called a face mower but on most electric razors there is a pop up trimmer. If you want to maintain a level of stubble you use the trimmer instead of the rotary heads to maintain that stubble look you're after.
