After not playing for a year or so I'm planning on playing again on a private server, preferably WotLK. Anyone out there playing on some good server? I don't want to go back to my old one, it's full of little kids and ->-bleeped-<-s, which was the reason in the first place for me stopping.

I don't really play in the Wrath era, but I heard Dalaran WoW is pretty good if not kinda tiny.
There is always Molten if that isn't what your eluding to. Sorry I can't give you any more of a professional insight!

Sure I can person even though you made this like 10 days ago and probably don't care anymore. >.< Proudmoore is like, the LGBT capital of WoW (every guild says "must be LGBT friendly" in their description), and it's also super nice. (still some Trade chat trolls but ehh, every server is like that) It's very Alliance-dominated like 10 to 1 but there's still some Horde.

I don't really play there though since I perfer PvP servers. >.<

I miss my vanilla/tbc days.... back when you needed skill and only a few people had epics and only a few could finish raids or do raids. I sold my old wow account for 1200 but I regret it I should have kept ir longer to sell it later lol. atiesh, ashbringer, T1 - T3 vanilla stuff and all epics from the AQ days and NAXX days. oh bwl, ony, zg. ah good olé days

Tut tut, selling accounts is against the ToS.

I started to play at WoTLK and I am still playing =P

I had a terrible period where I was really addicted to the game, but now I am playing with moderation...don't know if WoD will change that :O

Still, have 5 level 90 alliance toons and one 87 horde =P

I play at an official Blizzard server (Nemesis - US)... private servers are too bugged...impossible to play there =/

for the Alliance!

I was late to the party and could never get into it. By the time I got there the graphics looked badly dated and the mechanics were starting to show their age. I wish I could have got into it as a couple of my friends play it, but just couldn't.

I miss the tbc days too.  wow seems to have lost some of its magic, and seems a bit dumbed down.  despite that i've preordered the expansion, and even though I haven't played for ages I'm really looking forward to it.  thankfully i dont think ill ever be totally obsessed with it as i used to be.

My wife was a pretty hardcore WoW gamer until a few months after Mists of Pandarin came out. She's lost interest in WoW proper and has been playing Hearthstone alot. But with the new expansion coming out soon, she is starting to get back into it a little. I have an account too and I dabble, but I'm not a very regular player. In fact I don't have a character over 73 (Pandarian Monk).  :o

I used to love WoW, played mostly in WoTLK, but...that cash store they opened up and some of the other changes they've made have really turned me off from further investing my money in them...though, I was really tempted when I heard about them giving away a free week to players, I tried but wasn't eligible.
