Had one on Monday and now I feel totally awesome. Neck to toes (only tuft left is the pubes and she took a chunk of those too!  ;D )...

It wasn't my first...fourth I think. This time there was much less hair to remove than I had to deal with during my first treatment in March, it's coming out much easier too. The combo of waxing and HRT does seem to be resulting in much finer and sparser body hair. Yay!

Anyone else tried a full body wax?

Yes.  Done it twice so far.   Thinking of doing one more soon to get what remains.  It does get thinner and sparser every time.

My electrologist swears that if you keep waxing, you won't need laser or electro below the neck.  On HRT they don't want to regenerate so much.

I'm letting the hair on the legs grow out from shaving now.   Razors do not go to the root of the problem, so to speak.

So if I wax, I can avoid razors, lasers and tasers...

Had my second Brazilian about 2 weeks ago... :) most of my body hair went away with HRT, but I still had two small (2" x 4") patches of very noticeable hair on my back, just below the shoulder blades, right where I couldn't reach them with a razor. (All the other back-hair fell out on their own, these two patches were stubborn!)

Waxing esthetician fixed them...now just have maintenance!

I'm seriously considering this.   How much does it really hurt?  Like on a 1-10 scale?   :o

Pain depends on your tolerance...I could NOT stand "sugaring", but my gf could...also, the areas are different: for me, the tummy and "kidney" areas were terrible, like a 9 (10 if she rapid-fired the waxing effort)...most everything else was very tolerable, maybe a 5.

Kind of depends on how thick and coarse the hair is. The hairier and coarser then generally it might hurt a little bit to a fair bit. Maybe start with the arms and work your way to the legs then torso. Being on HRT does seem to weaken the roots, as does re waxing every few months. The second probably won't hurt as much as the first, etc

For me the beard is 10 (given up on that now I'm doing electrolysis) and everywhere else maybe a 2 or 3...

It can be a bit umm, hairy.  Some places were easy breezy, like forearms.  Bikini line, YEOWWW!!!

But it hurt me less than having to have it in the first place.  Good riddance.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance level if it's really worth it.

Has anyone ever used the No! No! ?   ;)

I haven't, but I don't know of anyone who has spoken well of it after using it.   Sounds like $200 wasted to me.

The what what? Haven't heard of that. Is it some kind of self waxing kit? Believe me, better to pay someone to do it properly, especially since they can get to those hard to reach places!

How much does it hurt? Depends on your pain threshold. Each time it's done there's less and it hurts less, the most painful bit I found was the breast bone area.As for home waxing it's a lot like tattooing and dentistry, leave it to the experts don't do this at home

I think that's how/why I tolerated so much waxing as a guy...the emotional pain was far geeater than the physical, and the sense of relief was incredible after the first 3 hour session.

I remember when I did that, it felt terrible. The pain of waxing the boys was indescribable, took off top layer of skin :'( after i was done though I felt so clean and it was all so worth it. It cost me near 200 bucks... Sad thing was just one week later I had rapid regrowth and all of these ingrown hairs, and itchiness and irritation. I hate being a man but thus is life:/

First time is always the worst. I think I remember you saying you're in the armed forces, Kaitlin, and therefore not able to start HRT? Believe me, the waxing gets better with repeated efforts and especially once you're on HRT. The regrowth is also significantly slowed by HRT...it's as if the follicles give up the will to live!

Have to say I haven't had the "boys" or the pubes waxed, partly because I'm chicken but also I figure both men and women are hairy in that area. Apparently there are surgeons who require electrolysis in that area prior to genital correction surgery...ouch.

Body hair really dulls the sensation of the environment and clothing on the skin, first time I put my clothes on after a full body wax, to feel the way the material slid over my skin, I was "OMG this feels amazing".

Pubic hair also "dulls" intimate contact.... ;) Shave or wax, but try it, giving and receiving...

i tried that chemical hair removal stuff but its really easy to get chemical burns from it. i might just stick witj laser or electro.
