Orchi at Same Time as Facial Surgery?

It seems I will be getting my walking papers in March at about the same time I'm going under for brow lift, eyelids, lipo, etc.  It would be nice to not have to take AAs and I don't know when I'll be getting the GRS, nor by whom just yet.  It just seems like if I'm already booking an OR and an anasthesiologist, they might as well just ditch the boys at the same time and I can be legally post-op.  A stand-alone orchi is like what, $3000?  And most of this is OR and anasthesia fees.  All I'd have to do is pay the surgeon, and I know of the perfect candidate.

Am I on the right track here?   I know Meltzer and Bowers will still do GRS post-orchi.

I did my orchie under a local.  If your surgeon has no problems doing it, I see no reason why not?

Not really.  I have had root canals that hurt worse.

My friend underwent FFS and an orchi with Dr. Cardenas today, in fact. The orchi was cheaper than a stand-alone since she had it at the same time as FFS.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
*beep*

Full time: 12/12/13
Started hormones: 26/3/14
FFS: No clue, winter/spring 2014/15 maybe?
SRS: winter/spring 2014/15?

ORs charge by time. MDs bill per procedure. Other than implants supplies are negligible cost wise.

I myself would never commit a penny to an orchie. Even if it is say 1000 dollars that's one tenth the cost of SRS from one of the lesser expensive but well known and doing a ton of surgery doctors out there. Save the money and get the entire job done period!

Perhaps if I needed to pinch pennies, but I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford everything out of pocket without hardship.  If I'm already going under it just would be nice to wake up in a couple of months sans 'nads.

BTW- If SRS is a year away and AAs cost $150 per month, I will save $1800.  If the surgeon charges $1000, I save $800 for the year.

If you want an orchi done then have it done. I just love this attitude some people have about the costs of an orchi versus SRS. Yeah, like money grows on a frickin tree. Maybe some people can never come up with that kind of cash, maybe some people have transportation issues, maybe some people just don't want it.

You gotta love that whole "My way is the right way for everyone" mentality.

Give me a break. ::)

seemes a nerve was hit? ha.

im not sure i want any before the full srs because of the tissue loss i keep hearing about. but it seems like with what i want labiaplasty may not be entirely necessary.
so really it would depend on whether you want the extra tissue if money is no issue.
Just delete my profile. im done with this site.

I just hate moronic elitists. Some may find them amusing. I find them pathetic.
