Hydration has become a little bit of a problem for me post op. and that is where I sometimes get plugged up. I feel urges to pee more quickly and have trouble holding as long as I could before my surgery. To avoid the pee calls I do not drink enough water and my bowels are running too dry at poop time to be comfortable. Try doubling your water intake for a while even if you have to hit the toilet more often, I found that herb tea tastes wonderful and I end up with about three times my water intake that way. I do have a small annoying hemorhoid that seems to act up a bit these days and it does make BM's a little more uncomfortable when it is active, so it could be one of them too. They swell up and you will know about them by a particular color of blood on your toilet paper, if you see it, do not freak, but call the doctor anyhow. I had a sigmoid endoscopy 45 days before my SRS so they know what my insides look like.
