At the moment I have started the 'process' of starting to transition and a couple of weeks ago I had my third session with a psychologist (I am having one session a month). So I have started. All this is lifting a huge weight off my shoulders. As did coming out to my cousin, then psychologist then parents (I was REALLY lucky with this).

Obviously the gender dysphoria still remains but it not being a secret helps a lot.

But one big thing that has remained a problem is my jealousy or anxiety sometimes when I see women. Can this possibly be a symptom of gender dysphoria?

I think it is a byproduct of gender dysphoria.  Personally, I just try to accept that I wasn't born a woman and try to enjoy myself as a "transwoman".  Something completely different but just as special and perfect as a genetic woman.

I would weep when I saw women I identified with.

OMG she can go to work in a skirt!!!!

It would kill me and reduce me to hiding under the bedclothes for a few days.

But once we transition......... JOY

The relief after finally talking about a deep secret that has consumed us for so long and held us captive.
Such a weight off our shoulders when we do start talking about it with others. It felt so empowering once it was out.

Jealousy, it's huge seeing other girls just being able to be themselves. It's the simple things that make me jealous, nice hair, smooth skin, curves that clothes fit how they should. Looking feminine and showing it off. Work in progress but I'm getting there. Soon.

Relief to see in just a few posts that people have the same thoughts.

It's exactly that. Jealous that a girl I see can wear whatever she is wearing in public and be herself. Grow out her hair etc. What is also annoying, but I guess far more common p (that's if your family accepts you when you come out), is why didn't i do it sooner?

Fortunately, at 22, I'm still young and testosterone has done little damage to to me in terms of male development. I still have a beard, I am tall and have broad shoulders but my younger brother is much more masculine in terms of what puberty has done to him. But with pretty much everyone I guess being able to start transition before male puberty had a chance would be the dream.

So is jealousy of this sort in anyway listed as a 'symptom'?

I always was jealous of other girls , not in a bad way Id just wanted to be like them...
Since I started transitioning though this feeling is a lot less prominent , maybe cause I know that soon Ill be like them...
