For people who are having/had electrolysis, where did you go?

I have a consultation with Deborah Cassin next week, wondering if anyone has heard of her/seen her. (She has apparently seen trans people)

Hi ... I had electrolysis back in 1984 - 1985.  Back then there was no laser option .... So where I went (in Scottsdale, Arizona) is probably irrelevant, as I doubt she's still there.  Just a comment:  At the time, even back then, most of her patients were Trans people, so I think that no matter where you go, you'll find that the person has experience with Trans customers.  She did my chest and underarms at the time ... Still totally hair-less after 28 years!  Roberto.
It took a lot of doing, but I take a lot of pride in what I am.

My LGBT Community Health center (Callen-Lorde) where I also do my HRT, has a resource listing on their website of local resource for both Laser and Electrolysis. If there is one in your area they may have one as well. My electrologists is also Transgender so we have a lot to talk about during my sessions. Nice to be able to talk about different things and keeps my mind off the pain. Of course I can't talk back when she is working on certain parts of my face. I pay $75/hour for Electrolysis and $75 a session (full face) for laser.

Also if you use Yelp, you can search for an Electrologists on your area and many times the reviews are helpful and can even indicate if they are Trans friendly.

I am using E3000 in Dallas. Instead of weekly sessions, I go in every 6-8 weeks for one massive session to clear the entire face of that particular growth cycle of hair.
