Hi. Does anyone know anything about this doctor? I am considering him for a cosmetic GRS Revision Surgery. I can't find *that* much information on him, so am a little concerned. I know that usually the better known ones are better known for a reason. He does seem well-trained and is perfectly professional in his correspondence, yet there are no pictures of his MTF work. Also, I had never heard of him before recently stumbling upon a general TS Surgery Guide, whereas I had heard of other big names, like Suporn and Bowers. Should I be concerned?

He works under the guidance of Dr Michael Brownstein, who is apparently a big name in the trans community. Dr Crane seems to work with both MTF and FTM patients. Link: http://www.tssurgeryguide.com/Dr-Curtis-Crane-SRS.html

All input VERY appreciated

Hi, boddi. Hopefully, someone who has some information on Dr Crane will respond to you soon. I believe that he is a urologist and received his MTF SRS surgery training under a well known surgeon.  I think that you can find this information on his website. Although he took over a FTM top surgeon's practice, I was under the impression that his specialty was MTF surgeries.
Top Surgery: 10/10/13 (Garramone)
Testosterone: 9/9/14
Hysto: 10/1/15
Stage 1 Meta: 3/2/16 (including UL, Vaginectomy, Scrotoplasty), (Crane, CA)
Stage 2 Meta: 11/11/16 Testicular implants, phallus and scrotum repositioning, v-nectomy revision.  Additional: Lipo on sides of chest. (Crane, TX)
Fistula Repair 12/21/17 (UPenn Hospital,unsuccessful)
Fistula Repair 6/7/18 (Nikolavsky, successful)

Firstly: Sorry Devlyn.  My ''crossposting'' was inadvertent.  I take it by that you mean posting this post more than once.  Forgive me  Brett: thank you very much.  May I ask what makes you think Crane is predominantly an MTF surgeon?  I actually got the impression that he was more FTM...
