I went to my first local gathering of "Mums-Net" today and met three other somewhat younger Mums.  I pushed the boundaries by talking about my church GLBT group and saying I knew some trans-people.  I don't think they realised.

The lady at the airline gate was trying to find me a reconnect because Chicago had been pretty much shut down. When she found it and was going to print the boarding pass, she started screaming "WAIT WAIT OH GOD OH GOD I've got the wrong identification pulled up OH GOD"

I was like no its okay no wait don't delete it for the love of god!! It's me it's me! I handed her my passport and she looked at it, confused. With a full line of people behind me, I said "I haven't changed my name yet..."

She winked at me and said "OHHHH okay I get it!!! Oh my god this should be on a Saturday night live skit!!" She continued laughing hysterically.

Cheered me up a bit even though my departure is delayed 24 hours

btw about me , I still dont know if can pass or not,,,hhhm when I get out on streets I feel that nobody is minding me , still I dont know what they re thinking...

I love those moment when people confused seeing my id pictures doesn't match. I will keep the old picture if I can but unfortunately they will take new pic when the id expired

When you have to pass through the women's locker room for work and no one stares, looks at you or gives you they hey, what ya doing here look.

On a date with my wife, I walked into a public restroom.  Two young boys stopped dead in their tracks, then ran out.  I heard them telling their parents that they must have gone into the wrong room, because a girl just walked in.  That kind of made my day given that I hadn't bothered with makeup, femme clothes or really anything in particular. ^_^

That is pretty funny. I will be traveling to Serbia in a few months. I wonder if I will have problems like that. My passport photo is from 2006.

In guy mode: I"m greeted by the pay less worker who asks what size I'm looking for as she's visually sizing me up/checking me out. I say 11, and she takes me right to the women's 11s.

At the corner store I always go to, NOT () in guy mode: It's a small family of 3 who runs it and are always working there. The youngest son is working and when he sees me he smiles and was like "HeeeeEEy!" I thought he would be standoffish.

At the bar that night: my 1st time using lady's public restroom, it was small and as I was leaving another girl was heading in, she simply held the door open and said "after you!"

And that same night, with my girlfriend, playing pool: A girl walks up and asks "Are you lady's expecting anyone else tonight?"

Well yeah, look at your face? 

Earlier this month, went to a friend's bday party (boy/andro mode). Chatted with a couple that sit across from me, the girl keeps on referring me with female pronoun but some other guy who've known me b4 tried to correct her and it made her even more confused.. 

A week after, I went to another event, again in (failed) boy mode, this girl that chatted with me also refer me using female pronoun. Which made everyone else new to refer me the same way. Can't blame those who knew me b4 since i didn't come out to them yet

A few days ago, went to costco to return some stuff. The cust rep looked at my costco photo card and asked me "where is he?" And i grinned trying to explain it to her.

Yesterday, went all day in girl mode for beer festival, nobody that i know before recognized me. I had to approach one of them and introduce myself and she was so surprised but very accepting. Every other people treated me like the girl I am.. So happy

Wow, lol, I'm feeling a mixture of happiness for you and disappointment in society. -_-

I should add my own...recently, a few of my brother's friends (who found out from other people that he had a FTM brother) don't seem to realize that...I am that FTM brother when they meet me.
