I just learned that falsetto alone isn't enough to train a male voice to go up into a female voice. You should be squeezing your vocal folds. But how can i accomplish this?

Let's just say i tried this but i felt the tightening in my chest and throat as i was trying to bring my voice from it's falsetto down to my normal voice.

Is there a right way to squeeze your vocal chords?
They say identity theft is a crime. Well, needless to say, a crime has been committed. My identity has been stolen. No, no one knows my social security number or has my credit card. I'm walking around in the wrong body. I'm wearing a costume which I cannot remove... and the only way I can remove that costume, is through surgery

For me, the key is to raise my voice box a fraction of an inch upward.

I learned to do this by speaking in the highest, squeakiest voice I could manage. I noticed where my voice box was when I did that.

If I continued raising it in exactly that way, but talked normally, everything out of my mouth, regardless of what pitch I used, sounded feminine.

I learned this from the CandiFLA youtube videos.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I too am having trouble with squeezing my vocal chords. I dunno. So far the closest I've come to sounding feminine is sounding like a man who spent the last 30 minutes doing helium whippits. It's frustratingly awful sounding. Are there any more resources out there like the candyfla vids? My voice and my facial hair are my only barriers to going full time, and I'm making progress on the facial hair. Would like to make progress on the voice too.
