I am only a couple of weeks into HRT and have of course been focused on the effects it will have. Along with HRT, I have been on a pretty strict weight loss regimen. When I finally committed to this process, I was 45 yrs old. 6'1 and 297 lbs. Popped my first pills a few weeks later at 280 lbs. As of this morning, I am now at 267...30 lbs down..woot! While my dream number is to see the first digit flip to a 1 at some point, I will wait and see on that. I know from younger days that, when in boy mode, a number in the 240's has worn well on my frame. But being a larger girl, I really hope that thinning out will help me look more feminine. Okok...so the ADD has kicked in...back to the point!...
So I am wondering. I have read that fat doesn't actually redistribute while on HRT, in that it doesn't just move from your belly to your hips. Rather, you will just have new spots where it will collect moving forward. I am actually really blessed in that I have basically almost no beer belly. Natually, I already am a little hippy and also have some extra fat at my chest. So as I lose weight, will it tend to come off slower in the more typically feminine spots? IE hips, thighs, butt, chest, etc? Or is this just wishful thinking?
