This is more a forum tech question. I did not join this forum to talk about sex. In fact HRT has made me forget all about it. Twice I have run across a thread that says it has been moved to 'sexuality'. If I click on said link, it says 'no such page'. Just curious.

Before July 2012, there was a section of the site called "Just For Us."  One had to have at least 15 posts to access, and in the case of the peer support boards, one had to apply.  These boards included the Sexuality board.  They were not able to be seen by non-members, nor were they crawled by bot programing.

When Susan revised the format, and provided for subscriptions and donations, that entire JFU section was moved into premium content.

There are proposals to restore the Sexuality board, or something like it, to the main part of the board, but with the 15-post minimum requirement.  Also, ideas have been floated to enhance the subscription areas with post-surgery galleries, and other content.

*blinks* So, a conversation that we were having quite joyously on this forum right here got moved into premium content that we now have to pay for because it was too good, apparently? Uhm.

While I'm flattered to have my post in a thread be considered "premium," I am disappointed that I can't view it anymore... #unemployed-trans-problems

I'm also confused as to why it was moved when the topic talking about 'not' wanting sex stays here? Confuzed.

It really bugs me that there are off limits parts to this site that we have enjoyed over the years.
Yes Susan should be able to make money, or at the very least break even for all the hard work over the years. But friends of mine run a quite successful forum here in Australia and make more than enough money for it to be full time work, yet not a single cent is taken from the users pockets.

They run Google Adsense as well as get site sponsors, I'm sure if you put the word out that you were looking for people to advertise on your site, whether it be for crossdressers needs, make up, trans friendly stores, even doctors, added with the adsense you'll make more money than asking for donations from your users.

We've all been helped by this site over the years, I've left 3 or 4 times only to check in and get stuck again, but to limit access to parts of this forum until people donate is wrong IMO.
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that
