I'm only 23, I'm too young for wrinkles! :D (Just keep smiling, just keep smiling)

I've started toying around with make up and it's brought to my attention some fairly prominent wrinkles that run horizontally across my forehead. I guess I always knew they were there, but now that I'm taking a more active role in my appearance they seem to really stand out as something that needs fixing. I was thinking, aside from make up, a different hair cut could help. I have shoulder length hair with long bangs that get swept to the side, but perhaps I could get shorter bangs cut in that might help to cover the forehead.

So, does anyone have any tips or tricks for reducing or concealing wrinkles, laugh lines, crow's feet and the like?

I also have some wrinkles in my forehead, and most of my friends at my age have far more.

A tip for me is massaging the forehead with a cubicle of ice from the refrigerator once or twice every day, especially after sweating a lot outdoors or after taking shower with warm water.

If this does not work, you may try filler or botox.

Well, makeup aside, I would focus on reducing and preventing wrinkles.  I don't really have any wrinkles on my forehead, but I feel like they may start to appear (it's hard to explain).  In any case, I use facial moisturizer every day and night and it's been making my skin look very healthy.  There are many products out there, but I love "timeless skin" by St. Ives.  It feels amazing and works well.   Now, my big problem is circles under my eyes.  For some reason this has always been an issue for me.  While it's not terrible, I am doing what I can to improve it and stop looking tired all the time.  So for that, I use a product with retinol sa in the morning and aloe vera and vitamin e at night.  It's been really helping me and I have no complaints.  Of course, you can use concealer and foundation to cover these things up, but I'd make prevention and reduction more of a priority than hiding it.

Tretinoin (retin-a) could be something to look into. I know it's often used for fine lines, but I am not sure how helpful it would be for forehead wrinkles.

I have forehead wrinkles, and am currently using tretinoin, so I could report on results (takes a while to work though).

I'm always aware of the fact that raising my eyebrows too much or frowning to deeply will make me get wrinkles faster.

This has made me only use my eyebrows subtly to express emotion, like I don't raise my eyebrows high at all and I don't frown deeply, it's just something I taught myself. And since all botox does is relax those muscles so you can't move it, I'm basicly doing that but without the botox.

However I can't seem to do the same with my mouth , because when people make me smile or laugh then it just happens.

Any updates? I heard this was prescription only. How do you get it prescribed?

I am lucky I don't have any in my forehead... but I think that now the new thing is to wrinkle your forehead when taking picture to make it look smaller but in the long run it just makes you get more wrinkles!

So if you do that, just stop and moisturize a lot and try find wrinkle creams maybe? I mean some of them work very well but the ones that do are kind of expensive! You should moisturize a lot even if you don't have wrinkle yet it prevents you from getting them!

Also if you look on youtube there are certain tutorials on yoga for your face which I think are very helpful! Moisturize, drink alot of water too!
