I'd advise against it. You don't want to be seen as manipulative by the medical establishment; that's the surest way to get roadblocked imo. I doubt any practitioner would even consider it unless you fall into a risk category (age 50 and up, Caucasian, family history (of which it sounds like you do,) obesity, smoker, etc.
Just be honest with your Gender Therapist and work within the Standards of Care. My 2 cents.
