How do you adjust your response ?My first one was .(whats going on with your hair) mid life thing ! played off by saying yes. My job puts me around almost all manly men .Next ear piercings .more ?? but they rolled with it .Got hair ungrayed .more looks but no one connected the dots . I am brave or stupid wearing finger nail polish .(neutral type with clear ). Me and my boss had talk about some of my breast enhancement in past when i had a life problems . Hes great guy but he will figure it out sooner or later .My journey is second nature to me .( strange feeling drawn to my path ) LIFE IS GOOD .Anybody going down this road or been there .. advise greatly needed and whated .Thanks Troi

Im assuming you are not generally out at work. Thats your answer. You will need to do that. The day arrives where you present as female for the first time. Problem solved, at least this one.

Not being glib. But its part of transition and one of the hardest parts. It was the part I avoided totally by moving far away so I didnt have to deal with it. I never liked the fact that I did not pass convincingly, but having people see me who had known me for decades that was too much for me.

i just started my journey .But things seem to be speeding up fast .I probably have 6 months of gray time at work. I am driven by internal force to become more female type person and that does not scare me ( maybe it should but it just feels right ) .when i get to the  coming out at work it will be life changing . This group of girls in here are greatly helping me wrap my head around alot of things .SO THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT. Troi   

Most important is to have a plan. Dont be impulsive. You need money, now more than ever, you need a place to live, you need to exist. People who have a plan and stick to it do better. Of course, im giving this advice in hindsight, the reality for me wasnt quite as perfect. Still isnt. I never took transition 101 in school.

I agree with having a plan, which I need to start working on with my therapist as I don't think I actually have that long until I start the male fail phase of my life. I can't wait for that moment but I'm still shaking in my socks just thinking about the unknown side of things as to what might happen when I do come out. Anyways I had my hair glazed darker than I normally do since I have had a huge problem with the lighter glaze fading within a few weeks or less after having it done. I like the new darker brunette color but the first day I went back to work after my Christmas vacation which was three weeks long a few people were asking me if something was different about me. They couldn't put their finger on it but I seemed different. Now that could have been because I lost 10 pounds in December & started a low dose HRT regiment and was actually happy versus being depressed when they last saw me but really the only noticeable thing was my hair color or at least that's what I think and I played it off with ease.

I have some kind plan .I have to work as male for year or so until my change becomes a problem .There is females in automotive scene .Mostly i will end up female style type (can not plan for this stage ).I am 50 married /great family (telling your father .mine lives with me PROBLEM not everything going to be easy !! ) Take it slowly is best advise to take and to give but not easy to do (I have the rest of my happy life) Thank Troi

I like hearing from you .my wife of 14  years is not only supportive but getting ready to dye my hair and change color of my nails .(but first i must change her nail polish first ) my 2 kids are young adults them self .my son 19 and out on his own (by his choice ) daughter 18 getting ready to go from senior to college .Only my daughter knows of my journey.She helps me with stuff like (should i wear toenail polish to my doctor visit ? go for it dad .ah thats love .) i have been taking H STUFF for breast growth and have some ha ha .stopping that in feb already got go ahead from my phyci to start t blocker march and e too . ME and my wife knows there be changes to all aspect of our lives .Good and a little bad  (with change you have price to pay .small i hope im not loaded .) troi
