Tims on campus aren't actually Tim Horton's franchises. They're university Food Services kiosks licensed to use the Tims livery. Their staff make identical wages to all other Food Services staff you see on campus.

My town has no Tims. We must be the only community in the counrty over 5000 without one.  :-\

My town has  around 35 to 40 thousand people and we don't have a Tim Horton's here.

That makes so much more sense!

In a group of writers, I realized I was the only one who reads/read YA books that are not popular series and that cover serious topics. The rest are apparently unaware that such YA books exist. I am shocked by this.
I am being silly and wish I could stop.

Perhaps. I don't know what audience I'm writing for yet. I'm struggling with getting my stories into words first. It's just that a lot of these folk read and someone brought up the topic of YA books.

I'm looking to get into writing chapter books for the 7-9 set.

Cool. I have lots of stories in my head, but I should warn you, I like villains way too much.

I'd like to write an early reader chapter book with a TG theme. Not enough out there.

One of my heroes in my "fairy tale" stories is a trans man. For some reason, I really like the idea of a trans prince charming. (Not a self insert. I'm a villain.)

self insert and villain are not mutually exclusive

I dont go strait for trans. I do allusions like a different race or something.

Yeah, but I just wanted to make it clear that the trans character is not based on me. I'm not making a villain trans due to the unfortunate implications. One day, a trans character will just be seen as a character, but we are currently not at that stage yet.
