I understand the feeling, but then, you'd never feel happy either. Empathy is easy to get rid of though. Or, at least, I thought it was.
Im fine with empathy.
Its when its about me that i cant take...

Me too. It's when it's about me that it's not empathetic.

Right now, other than some personal issues, I'm thinking of what is the best thing for me to do for the sake of my own sanity. Minecraft, sleep, or eat pizza. Truly one of the greatest decision I might encounter in my life!

Fair enough. Personally, I found that caring about other people was what put me in harm's way.

Funny how just having a consult date makes me feel so much better. It makes me feel like, it's not hopeless, there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

So I found out that my mom has abestos in her chest which probably contributed to her having a lung infection.  I'm sure all her years of smoking and drinking didn't help.  I really do hope my mother cuts back on them (or at least smoking, but it should be both).  She's going to have to now or face lung cancer.  I'm thinking well if something happened, God forbid, where would I go?  What wold be my plan? I really need to come up with something just in case.

Just the other week my sister wad admitted to the hospital and was close to death.  She had some rare post-birth complication and got there just in time.  Her blood pressure just kept rising and was like 215 over something and rising as one of the effects.  The doctor said that he had only seen this happen with two other women post giving birth and they both died.  I didn't realize how bad it was.

Eat a piece of pizza and then sleep.

Also, your avatar pic makes me think of you as being a twin sister to Trveor Peres (Obituary guitarist, circa 1992) in some alternate universe.

Oh man, Malachite...I'm sorry to hear about your mom and sister. :( I hope they're going to be OK, especially with the new baby in the family.

Thankfully my sister got out of the hospital a few days ago and she seems to be doing a lot better.  She's supposed to stay at home for 12 weeks and it's actually driving her crazy lol.  I hope my mom does get a lot better too. Though I don't like o be in her presence when she's drinking, I love her and don't want to lose her.

Tell her Malachite! She probably needs professional help at a treatment center!

My sister and I have told her this and begged her to.  My mother is the type of person to listen to anyone because she can't handle what we have to say to her.  She's always on the defensive side.

lol I'd be fine with that too, as long as CB Warped was included.

Thanks for keeping them in your prayers.  I really do appreciate that.

Reading gynecomastia forums to see what other men have to say...seems it takes over their lives just the same as our chests take over ours. I've read story after story of guys who are so depressed they don't want to leave the house, wear layers of shirts, use things to bind. It helps.
