Sounds like you have a plan Alice. There is nothing more depressing than not knowing who you are or where your headed. You will get there!

I do not want to tell my doctor what I am thinking because I want to get of my meds. Plus I need to return to full time work. I hate my choices  :'(.

hmm - My parents think it is OK to be on meds for life - I would hate it if that happened. It tells me I have problems that should not be there.

I wish I could just leave forums like this so I can get in with life

I started on AD's several months before I began HRT.  The AD's helped me sort out my feelings and let me focus on one thing at a time to work with my therapist (had other issues than gender identity).

I'm still on the AD's and I probably will remain on them for the long-term.  Both my parents are on AD's, so depression runs in the family.  For me, one or the other isn't better - I need both.

Alice, you seem to be in a very vulnerable state, and i think you really need to continue seeing your therapist. have you seen or considered seeing a gender therapist?

yeap - my state does seam to be vulnerable - my theripst gets back at the end of the month - I will talk to her then. In the mean time my doctor is taking care of me.
