For years I have been unpassable and did partly FFS as nose, cheekbones, lips filler and still not passing.

I never really knew the difference between cheekbones and cheeks, thought it was all the same thing.

I discovered the only time I looked feminine to the max is when my face was swollen as hell when I did Rhinoplasty. My cheeks were plump and my face looked round when generally it looks oval & chiselled.

When my face was no more swollen, I felt sad the swelling was gone cos I started to become unpassable again. I thought the major nose job I've gone would change my life but it vain, I still get clocked.

Then I remember when it was swollen I was somehow passable, so I said let me try fillers Hyaluronic acid, omg a major miracle. I'm now finally am more passable. And I even look much younger than I was before OMG  :o but the only thing is now I have a rounder, younger 'cute' face while before I was 'hotter' with chiselled oval face but more 'milfy' and not completely passable. It accentuated my manly chin too much.

So girls out there who want to wipe off 10 years from your actual age and look more feminine should really give this cheek filler a try.

I love hyaluronic acid too but take it in pills instead of having any injections or plastic surgery. Have you tried the supplement form?

It's so expensive in pills and out of my budget to pay €50 every month. The fillers I tried only once and I can afford only once a year.  ;) Do the pills really work? I tried only once for a month and I didn't see big difference.

They do! You just have to find the brand that works for you and what most people don't know is that you have to take vitamin C with H.A. I'm currently trying out different brands but so far, the one that made the most dramatic difference for me was: http://www.iherb.com/now-foods-hyaluronic-acid-with-msm-60-vcaps/641?rcode=ali873

I don't even think I took C with this one but it still worked probably because of the MSM. Good luck!

What is the effect of taking it in pill form?

Hyaluronic acid retains water in your skin meaning you're moisturizing yourself from inside out- giving your face a fuller and plumped look. Maybe injections have a stronger effect as I've never had them but for $13, it can't hurt to try. It's just that the result was more dramatic than anything else I tried. I'm 23 and it works immediately but if you're older, give it at least two weeks.

Hey there!

This sounds pretty darn good, but from what I'm reading on the net - the Hyaluronic Acid is broken down by stomach acid when taken orally. The positive reviews I've read sound very much like the gushing prose written about a certain herbal phyto-estrogen, so this appears to be the new "wonder drug / fountain of youth" currently doing the rounds. Its not so much the fact that we're being duped by money-makers (that's to be expected of human nature), rather its the initial feeling of hope that one of these snake oils might be worth something, that's always the most depressing part of these scenarios.

Genuinely, have you noticed definable results?

Apologies for the cynicism, its just that scientific evidence for substances like these never seems to be favourable, even if the marketing claims are. Just being cautious :-)
There are no more barriers to cross... But even after admitting this, there is no catharsis... I gain no deeper knowledge of myself. No new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing.

First and most of all, why would I lie after having actual results? I mean, I'm not even trying to sell her anything, am I? Speaking from experience here, hun. My skin was flaky and dry which really stressed me out but my skin feels so hydrated now and a coworker asked me if I got a facelift, ha.

And, while it may be true the stomach acid eats it up but like I said, it depends on the brand because every company processes the hyaluronic acid and have it absorbed differently. Whatever the brand is, it is almost always recommended to take it on an empty stomach because it can be easily "disabled" as you said. Also, I open the capsule and sprinkle it on my tongue in hopes of having some of it absorbed sublingually. If you go to any website and look at a hyaluronic acid product, you will see it always has hundreds of positive customer reviews. What's your explanation on that? Again, for $13 you can't lose much.

Sounds interesting, here are a few write ups regarding Hyaluronic acid but of course you can always search the web yourself

When you had the fillers did you mention you were trans? I've been thinking about fillers, but I don't know if I should find a clinic that is familair with treating trans women/faces or if it's all the same.

Although it's good that it's not permanent, it kinda sucks that if you love it you have to spend the same amount of money again after a year or so. How much did you had and how much did you pay?

Hi, of course I told I am trans to get straight to the point of what I want exactly. Furthermore I was so clockable that time that it wasn't even necessary to say. Permanent injectable cheek fillers exist but my FFS surgeon strongly recommended me not to use that dunno why. Furthermore Hyaluronic acid in itself is a magic potion that make people look naturally younger, it tenses the skin and wipes of wrinkle and gives your skin the moist and hydrated look. Some people drink that pills just to look young. I paid 400€ but I'm in Europe maybe in U.S it's cheaper, you need to ask the american girls.

I'm just adding a little info based off of what I know about pills:

Even if a medicine or chemical is rendered ineffective by stomach acid, capsules and pills can have a coating, such as an enteric coating, that allows them to resist breaking down for longer, so they can pass the stomach before they really break down and start getting absorbed.

Eating before you take these pills also helps, because it increases the chances the pill's contents will not be destroyed by stomach acid.

Ey?..I could have sworn I replied to this weeks ago  ???

Anywho, that's pretty cool about the facelift comment :p

The reason why I questioned the post, is that it sounded ecstatic and  perhaps, commercial. "I sooo underestimated cheek fillers, secret to look younger + passable" - sounds like what you'd read on an advert. I visit many forums, and there are so many posts with very similiar titles and themes, especially on hairloss forums. Titles like "I never knew I'd regrow all my hair with Argan oil, it really works!!!!" or "try this! iI really IS the fountain of youth". So please forgive me for being skeptical when I first read your post :) Its quite hard to believe that one particular treatment (in this case cheek-fillers) can instantly render one passable.

However, subsequent posts  seem to show that you're not actually a marketing executive, or a marketing troll trying to boost internet posts for your product, so I must have been wrong on this occasion. No offence intended. I'm just fed-up with reading about the next big thing that'll save us all or roll-back-the-years, when 99.9% of every treatment, lotion and pill won't actually ave any actual effect, minus the placebo. In handing over your cash, you will however be happily contributing to the cost of a CEO's brand-new gorgeous sports-car, though. So at least its nice to know that you are helping to make the roads of the world a more beautiful place.

The acid in question here, has predictably mixed reviews & evaluations, with some physicians claiming it has negligible effects, and some claiming it's an invaluable tool. Physicians have their own agendas too, though, so its hard to trust anyone  >:(

I'd like to believe it works tbh, as I have gaunt cheeks and I doubt HRT will do much, so if there were other options that were affordable, that'd be great.

I'm 28, so, wondering how much I'd have to take to have any effect.

Btw, I'm a skeptical optimist :p

I don't see how pills would have the same effect as injected fillers though. Aren't injected fillers actually physically being put in place to have a filling effect? Pills wouldn't be targeted in that way.
