So tonight I am strongly considering whether or not I should come out to my sister. Me and her are going to head downstairs and smoke a couple of bowls later on, which is a normal occurance between her and I. When we do this we just talk, listen to music, and discuss things. I was thinking maybe she'd be the best person to tell first and the most understanding. She has a friend (female) who openly wants to transition to a male..and my sister is understanding with her friend. So I think it could go well, but the other side of me thinks it would be too sudden to say out of the blue tonight. So I'm not sure, I guess I can see how the discussions go and how I feel at the particular time. So we'll see how it goes, I'll let you all know later on.

Good luck from me as well! Hope things work out okay, although I think they will if she already knows someone who plans on transitioning and is okay with it.  Although it is a little different when it is family.

I've only come out to my girlfriend, but I'm planning on coming out to my sister next.

Welll, whimped out. My dad came down and I immediatly said no to myself...and decided not to say anything then. I sorta even built up to it slowly...dissapointing.

IMHO I don't think it is a good idea. You might feel nore relaxed and close because of it but again you could be too much stoned and misread and mishandle the situation. Or is it a cop=out where you can say afterwards it wasn't me it was the weed? Why not have this discution when you are both clear-headed? Don't you want to be able to explain and answer her possible questions without any chemical interference?

No no there is no interference mentally on me, it just relaxes me. My sister and I have some of the best coversations at those times, its sorta a bonding thing I guess...something we have in common. I'm also not one to blame a drug for any misfortunes or screw ups... I'm pretty responsible with my drug use and very informed on everything I may do. It just seemed like an oppertune time and I was sorta feeling brave tonight. There is always tomorrow I guess, but I dont want to rush and make sure I do it when I feel good about it again.
