Do you think that these kids might possibly be transgender or do they just like dressing comfortably?

Maury liked to hype things up (notice how all of them are wearing baggy hoodies and dressed pretty much identically?  I'm not gonna speculate on a person trans status based on watching one show. 

Shows like this are absolute garbage. They are not genuine and are sensationalized beyond the point of relative believability. Furthermore, if the parents really were concerned, they would have taken their kid to a therapist (to really get to the bottom of it, whatever it is and to work on it) instead of to a TV show to be publicly displayed like a circus act (if one or more happens to really be trans I can't even begin to imagine the level of dysphoria this experience generated. I wouldn't have stood for it. Though, I'm sure these kids were compensated richly to grin and bear it... if of course they weren't just paid actors, which is not unheard of in "reality" TV). Ugh.

Some of them were ringers for paid actors, imo.

Others may have been legit tomboys.

Personally, I thought that Jordan, Tony and Ryan (from the second vid) all looked like they were terribly uncomfortable and that they whole thing was dysphoria-city for them. Trans? Maybe. Or possibly they just weren't comfortable in those outfits.

Aimee was the only one from the first video that struck me as being even half-ass legit. The rest seemed like paid actors to me.

These sorts of shows are really cheap shots at non-conforming female-bodied persons, imho. Unfortunately, shows like this are how many persons learn about transsexuals, intersex conditions, and other sorts of persons. Shame, shame.

I don't know why they would want to put their kids on TV simply for the way that they dress.  It seems that the parents just want media attention or something.

Maury actually did do an FTM episode. I think Buck Angel was in it. The Trisha show just did an FTM episode too.

That sums up a lot of those shows. But then again, it brings up two questions: 1. Aren't these people allowing themselves to be exploited by appearing on the shows in the first place? and 2. How many of these people are who they say they are instead of being actors/actresses?

You would be amazed by the vast numbers of people that actually think that all of this stuff is real. But they also believe the same about "reality TV".

Ugh, I hate Maury. I agree with the above comments, they sound like paid actors.

Why even take a show like Maury seriously?  It's in the realm of Jerry Springer - though not that bad.  It's all for entertainment - I pretty much agree with the idea that some of these are likely paid actors.  No doubt most of the 'guests' on Jerry Springer are.

I would just ramble about subjects that had nothing do with being trans just to piss them off.

This is kind of disgusting to me... When I was little the "is it a boy or a girl?" Made me cry...

Obviously this is about "gender presentation" not about gender identity. Though I sort of think most of them were actors. Everyone wore 5 sizes too big hoodie and pants. I don't think the acting was all that good either, but you have to admit, the costuming was cheap.

Both episodes were cheap.

It's been awhile since he's done anything like this...nowadays, it's mostly "who meh baby daddy!?!?! 5 guy gangbang paternity results next WEEEEEEEEK!!!" or "my brother slept with my sister who used to be my lover until she hooked up with the next door neighbor's dog!"

It's been confirmed that Jerry Springer hires people to be on his show. A friend of mine was going to do it years ago, but chickened out.

I want to see "one footed transsexuals play hokey pokey" on the Maury show...

I barely made it through 10 minutes of this before I had to stop watching. I know it's all hyped up and exaggerated, but honestly I feel physically sick after watching that.
