Hi!

I used to be a very gross and disgusting guy. Not saying guys are gross and disgusting, but I was. With that background offered...

So I'm taking care of business in my bathroom and look over to my right to see the bundle of new toilet paper just sitting there next to the toilet and I realized, this particular sight, would have been very bad prior to my transition. The toilet paper probably wouldn't have held up sitting there, absorbing what ever might fall on it, if you catch my meaning.

Anyone else notice novel little gifts from transition?

Yeah, I experienced the same thing in myself. :)

I take care of myself now, aside from I still smoke (not as much as before tho)        Im more mindful of keeping my area's clean. But my room, thats still a ->-bleeped-<- storm cloths and random girly junk.  Its a gamers/anime junkies room.    But my all time favorite, is being intimate, even tho im pre op-  im comfy enough in my body now to be able to enjoy being physical with my gf.

Playing a full contact sport I don't have to wear a cup since there is nothing down there. Furthermore I have crashed so many times that I value my boobs for crash padding. So there you have it. On the downside I cant do a lot of things physically that I did before. Just one of those things one has to live with.

I am telekinetic, clairvoyant and bulletproof now.

Sorry, I've got nothing.

When my cat headbutts me in a breast to wake me up in the morning, I wake up right quick!

there a horde of things but #1 would be I am more freely expressive with my emotions. :)

What can I do now???

I'm me now and that is a huge difference.  I'm more open, I'm more caring while at the same time, I tend to be more up front and less of a door mat.

I learned to sing with a female voice and I sing quite a bit.  I did not sing as him.  I clean my house more that I used to do.  I care more about how I look and how others perceive me.  I don't work up at the resort nearly as much (I think I did that to hide).

Not much is actually the same.

Hugs,

Jen

(P.S. Paige – you look fantastic.)
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Thank you Jen, thank you for highlighting another thing I can do now: I can accept and share belief in a complement. :)

I'm also glad to see you're progressing onward. :)

I don't freak out anymore if my fingernails get long. I remember being in middle school and holding my hands under my desk all day to hide them when I neglected to cut them for "too long" making them "too long".

I can also typically leave a shoe store nowadays with a good haul! :)

I much more fussy about my appearance, my hair, nails, etc. I buy clothes in the womens department happily, I'm much more upbeat attetude wise -less of a stick in the mud, lol! :D I care much less of what others think. And while shopping for outfits I'm much more color concious and care if they match, or a top and bottom go good together. I'm also much more picky about my house being clean especially my kitchen. And I love styling my long hair instead of just throwing it up in a pony and going with it. I do still love my ponytails for those days I'm not feeling so well, however I tend to be more particular with it. Really girls so many things have changed in a good way for me over the last 6 years even before hrt it's amazing, and they are too numerous to list, lol! ;)

Coming from the other side, I can laugh and dance and sing and hope and play. That is way more than I could do caught up in that depressive, suicidal thing ish person that was before.
