I much more fussy about my appearance, my hair, nails, etc.

My SO noticed the same. I would often wear stained, er long stained, clothes over and over again. Something that would be unthinkable now! When I was a kid too, I'd often go to school without combing my hair. I looked like Rod Stewart! (Nobody thought I was sexy).

I can have tan lines and not get weird looks, I'm talking about low tan lines.

I have can have stuffed toys on my bed, say "sweety" or "chicka".

I can talk about nothing on the phone for hours, just after seeing that person.

I can shop in any part of the store, male, female and its fine!
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that

Yea that's another one. I actually enjoy shopping now. I used to absolutely hate it. Now I just seem to can't wait to go on my next shopping spree. Hurry up last week in February! ;)

I feel happier, more confident and much more able to express myself and stand up for myself. Attention to my appearance. Tidier and more organised. The last week or so I'm feeling I can compliment other women on a piece of jewellery or a dress without feeling inappropriate or like a creep.

Oh yeah! Before I came out there was a woman at work whose sense of style I adored. When I came out, one of the first things I did thereafter was go up to her and squee, "I love your sense of style!"

I'm just loving reading these replies! :)

I care way more about my appearance now and I use creams..

and carrying a handbag is so cool, I don't need to fill my pockets anymore.

and... I can get free drinks and get people to help me by wearing a top that shows off my cleavage  ;D
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

there a horde of things but #1 would be I am more freely expressive with my emotions. :)

I agree with this. I have also taken on an obsessive-like fascination with clothes. As a guy, I never really cared before. Now I do--even with the guy clothes I still have to buy.

I use to hate shopping, now it's all I think about most days 0_0 I wanna buy everything.

I'm also more sexually open; or "less prude" and my behavior no longer draws awkward attention

Yea I agree it's great not having to fill my pockets anymore now that I carry a handbag or purse. I used to hate it when my pockets were full of change and my pants wanted to fall down, lol! ;) :D

Being able to carry I purse is a big one and not having my pockets full of stuff. Can't stand putting anything in my pockets even in guy mode now. I never had an interest clothes before, now I can't wait to go shopping :-) Mostly it's not having to be on guard all the time. I don't have to censor what I'm thinking or saying. It's very freeing. :-)

Lets see, I can wear makeup, people seem more polite to me, I can go into a women's room and not get weird looks, wear more or less what I want. Over all I've been a lot happier now that I started hrt. Just can't wait until I can actually grow my hair out and get my ears pierced, but I plan on having my body and face hair gone by then. Right now super short hair and no piercings is required for work.

Where do you work at that requires super short hair? Just curious.

A few years ago I would have used what could be described as different language to convey my feelings about the British NHS  >:( . Now I am far more polite.  :-\

Unfortunately I'm stuck in the US Army until they finish my medical discharge.
