So I made it to Michigan 5 days ago and it's been snowing a little every day, but last night there was a blizzard.  I'm digging out of the house in South Range again, and had a couple feet of drifted snow blocking the front door this morning.  My Jeep is still snowed in a little.

Maybe I'll have to invite some of you girls to help for a few months.  :icon_help:

I grew up with that crap. I escaped! You can keep it all seriously!

Nice  :)

I don't know why I've been fine with snow shovelling this winter.  When I was running on T instead of E in prior winters, moving the snow was a huge chore that usually hurt my back a LOT.  This winter, not so much.  Probably something to do with caring for myself a whole lot better now.

Granted, we haven't had quite that much snow here in Philly.  Still envious though  :)

Yikes. I think I'll stay down here in the midwest with my blistering high temperature of 6.

Haha, ya the up sucks if you don't like snow! I'm in southern MI and even here it has been a super snowy winter. I have family I visit in Sault Ste. Marie and they always have feet of snow on the ground in the winter. I went up there last March for a funeral and even tho I was lucky and it didn't snow, they still had like 2-3 feet on the ground.

While I do love snow, I love boating and fishing alot more. Think I'll stay here in sunny Fl even if it is going down to 28 tonight. ;)

Awww.  No sympathy for the cold and miserable?  And really ... no volunteers to pack up and move to this wonderland?  It is beautiful most of the year, and if I can take a couple pictures as a comparison for today and last summer I'll post them.  I know just the spot, but my digital camera stops working in near zero temperatures.  :P

Have fun and stay warm girls.  K

Jealous of that snow, live at 59°N but I have nowhere near that amount  :(

We're having the worst winter in memory here in Southern Ontario. -20 when I woke up. Snow every day.
All the cheaper snowblowers were sold out, so I had to buy this huge heavy brute, but at least it's electric start, and quite maneuverable. Driveway salt has been sold out since early December. To really add insult, my propane usage has tripled this year. Ah...the rural life.

I wish I could send it all someplace else.  Maybe Tahiti or Hawaii.

I have a snowblower in California (figure that one out).  Walmart still has a few here, but I don't have the money to spend.

They're selling some discount certificates for pasties from the Kaleva Cafe on WMPL radio right now.  Dinner tonight?  Maybe ... just maybe.

Well, if you're west of I75, you jump into Lake Michigan, east of I75, you jump into Lake Huron. How cold is it? Well, that's where the trans brass monkeys go for their orchies, eh?

Cindy

Last time I jumped into a lake it was Lake Eyre, got salt burn and bruises. Now that's what I call a Lake!

When you're in Houghton though, it's better to jump into Lake Superior.
