There is a company here that specialises in nice colourful clothing designed for disabled and physically impaired people. A fantastic concept and a niche market. They run out of a warehouse and visit nursing homes etc and do screenings of their products. The staff are lovely as you would expect.
Anyhow my wife asked if I could take her to the place so that she could see the whole range, I called them to make sure they could accommodate us and off we went. My wife is in a rather complicated wheelchair to give her some comfort and I have a vehicle that accommodates it.
We got there and the owner was present and a really nice woman, showed my wife lots of clothes, modeled them and we all had a great time, and I hurt the credit card

We were talking all the time and the owner got around to how fortunate my wife was to have a friend who would take her out, asked her about her husband and did he visit etc. My wife just played dumb and didn't respond to those questions.
Finally I had enough when she said it was a pity her husband didn't visit and take her out and she was so lucky I did.
So I lost it in the end and said. 'I am her husband, I've had a sex change'. She then lost it took two steps back and collapsed in a chair making a good imitation of a goldfish out of water.
My wife was killing herself laughing, I was smiling and the owner was just saying Oh my God.
It was a great experience, possibly I do pass

and I met a great lady who, when she recovered asked about TG issues and offered to support my interest in helping TG children and their families.
But I had to share!!
Thank you. Dressed for Success. A great company!
