Just a quick question for thous experienced HRT members here. Just curious how my E level looks after 2 months.

my level is                   33.8

adult cismale               7.6 -   42.6
adult ciswoman
Follicular phase-           12.5 -  166.0
Ovulation phase -         85.8 -  498.0
Luteal phase    -          43.8 -  211.0
Postmenopausal  -        <6.0 -   54.7

my main question is, is that about normal or is the estradial that i'm taking affecting me more then normal. I have no pre level or T level as of yet.

It might help to include units. My pre-HRT E2 level was 37.4pg/ml - I'm actually having my ~70 day on HRT (roughly in line with your timeline) tested later this week, I'll update you with levels when I get the results :)

Every time my endo tells me my levels my brain goes chasing after a fluffy puppy. I really should pay more attention I guess but the numbers mean squat to me. If my endo is happy then I'm happy. I am seeing him tomorrow though and will try to remember the numbers this time rather than letting them go in one ear and out the other...

she has them listed below..

they look similar to the normal ranges on my test, so I suspect it's pg/ml, but she should confirm this of course

Oh wait now I get it , so the E lvl of cisfemales depend on the stage of their Menstrual cycle, right?
what about us?
do we have a cycle? I guess not , so how can I know if the e lvls are ok??

your endocrinologist should be able to advise you, I would give you my experience but I think pretty much anything DIY-enabling is frowned upon on this forum.. might try ->-bleeped-<- for some better resources regarding that ;)

That's part of the reason I asked.... I'm confused by the lay out as well. I feel fine she even increased my dose with out seeing the results and herd nothing from her since the testing on jan21st.

The thing I am wondering is.... Where or what level do the endo's prefer or is preferred ??? And is anyone in the 200-300+ range

Doctors vary. People vary. When you are tested versus when your last dose was versus administration method all affect the results.  Personally I feel that levels are only worthwhile for injection/patch, because pill levels vary too much depending on when you took it versus when you had blood drawn.  If you're feeling good and your doctor is happy with your health, and as time goes on you're pleased with results, there's not much to stress over.  Remember it takes a long time for hormones to do their magic.  Be patient :)

Umm, my E levels were within upper male range even at 6 months on double dose - except the chart was a bit different - it said that adult cismales are < 56.  My E was 30.5 pg/ml pre-HRT, 51 pg/ml at 3 months and 46.2 pg/ml (yeah, actually lower) at 6 months :).

Thank you. That info tells me that either I had a low starting E, or low effects on me.

I haven't gotten my T lvl back yet. I'm hoping it's fairly low. However I know it takes a lot to get it real low.

Retain copies of all of your lab reports!

They are yours.  If you ever have to see another doctor, you will have your lab history with you.
