Hey ho everybody,

Rather than write huge blocks of text that make eyes bleed and brains shut down, I thought I would put all the interesting things I can think of in wonderful bullet point format, because I am totally original and am completely not just doing this out of laziness...why are you looking at me like that?

I've decided to try and keep this post up to date, as a mini personal summary/bio on the site, since the option to make new blogs is currently unavailable...and I have too much spare time.

Check back here if you are looking for updates on my writing or anything else.

Things That You Should (But Probably Don't Want to) Know About Me

  • I am Scottish born and bred, you can tell by my pasty white complexion and passion for fried food.
  • I am 26 years old, although I have been accused of acting half that age, but that's fine by me, because that means I'm still at least 18, and still legal to do most things...so joke's on you! :P
  • I'm terrible at maths
  • Danniella is not my real name, because who uses their real name on the internet? I mean seriously, I like my mail to contain as little anthrax as possible, one or two hits a year is enough to sate even the most masochistic of people.
  • I'm a Digital Artist by trade, I make pretty things with computers to distract and boggle the minds of the masses into buying products my clients want to sell...no it's not what I want to do with my talents...yes it's soul destroying and unrewarding...milk and two sugars please
  • I use humor as a defense mechanism...well it's either that or the laser defense grid I installed around the house...depends on how I'm feeling on that day really.
  • I have just started HRT in January, and I am already measuring every inch of myself each morning, while rubbing miracle grow into my breasts, don't think it will help, but at least if I develop super plant powers, I'll take that as a win.
  • I have been lurking for a while now, but finally decided to join up because I am sick and tired of not being able to talk about Dysphoria stuff without hearing some form of the phrase "I can only imagine what you are going through"
  • I have never broken a single bone in my body, despite falling from a 3rd story window onto concrete, being ran over by a horse and generally doing lots of other dumb things that I should not have...I might be a super hero, but I'm too lazy to test it out properly.
  • I am a complete nerd, like think on a nerdy thing you have heard of? Okay got it? Yeah Chances are I do/have done that in my life, i'm even a Dungeon Master and run RPG groups for God's sake...Why yes I have had sex?...Wait why do you ask?
  • My 10 year relationship with the woman of my dreams has just fallen apart in February, it's been the most painful and crippling experience in my entire life, but at least I get to eat allot of ice cream...wait that's what happens when you get your tonsils out...hang on...
  • My music taste is all over the place, imagine grabbing all the music videos on youtube and throwing them in a blender, yeah that's what the contents of my mp3 player looks like.
  • Given the choice, I will always pick a cute girl over a hot one. Cute girls can be hot, but hot girls are just hot all the time, like, you need a break from that, who wants to be all "Hey darlin, pass the toast...please stop looking like you want to have sex with and/or eat me."
  • Wine is my greatest weakness...that or bullets, not 100% sure on that front to be honest.
  • I never know when or how to end a post properly...I often come to a rather abrupt end out of the bl...

Welcome!
Maybe "Welcome to posting!" if you've been reading for a while is more accurate.
The dot points don't do well to hide the nerdiness but I think you'll find a number of like minded people here :) (For the record, I'm not a DM and have never had a long term relationship, but otherwise I'd say we have similar backgrounds!)
FYI, don't test that bullet thingy out :P
Again, Welcome!

Hi!! Welcome to the forum. :icon_drunk:

I'm 36, but I've been told that I have recently regressed to around 12 given some of my new interests. (which are really just resurrected interests. :D)

I remember falling 4 feet onto concrete hard dirt after slipping on a hill when I was 19. Luckily, I was intoxicated so I felt no pain. Didn't even get a bruise, didn't break anything in my face and amazingly enough, I didn't break my glasses. :D

Throwing all music in a blender? Hmmmm...sounds like Mr Bungle to me. :D

A cute, geeky girl would be my preference.  ;D

Hi Danniella,

Welcome to Susan's...
love the bullets. (I'm more of an ellipsis person myself...)
Forget the miracle grow, the girl juice is all the magic you need :)
Scottish you say, and it's WINE you fancy? No malts? ...sigh...
I +1 Sephirah :)

A warm welcome to you, Daniella.  My Grandfather was a Scot, who was brought to the United States as a small child.  He actually spoke some Gaelic.

That was 100 years ago.

There is a beautiful Scots MtF on youtube named Melissa Carmen.  I just love listening to her.  It does not hurt she has had a gorgeous transition either.

It sounds as if you have a plan in place.  Best of luck to you.  I am pleased to meet you.

Nice to know there are other nerds hanging out in the community, I shall attempt to resist the urge to try out the bullet thing, helps that fire arms are illegal in Scotland at least ;)

I was going to say that "rules are made to be broken mwahahaha!" but then you had to go and have a bunch of sensible  and logical rules in place...what's the point in that? No "Every Wednesday we must all wear bowler hats and eat lobster"? THAT would be a rule...though actually I don't think I would be against that rule...damn, this is why I don't moderate.

I like you already. ;D

Welcome to the site.

Not sure if that makes me very likeable? Or you easily pleased?...I'll take the former ^^

Intoxication does have it's benefits at the time I guess, I wish I was intoxicated when I was run over by the horse, bloody painful ass all hell, never had bruises like it xD

Cute geeky girls are the best girls, I'm hoping to attain at least the geeky girl title in my life, cute? we shall have to wait and see.

I love ellipsis AND bullet points, essentially I like it to look like somebody has taken a shotgun to my posts...or a very angry woodpecker...OH! Maybe they were trying to shoot the woodpecker!...what was I talking about?

I prefer wine, I had a big whisky phase, but can't drink the stuff any more after a rather...unfortunate New years celebration that will best go unspoken >.>

We do get everywhere, although shame about Gaelic, my mother speaks a bit, but it's pretty much a dead language now.

I shall check out this Melissa Carmen, feels like us Scots are a rare breed in the MtF community :S

Long reply is long.

Hi Danniella,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

As you were born and bred on the right side of the border, I'll allow you to refer to me in my proper title; Lady Catherine. ROFL. Seriously!! I'm a landowner which confers the title, by Scottish statutes.

However been born and bred a true Aussie I'll cut you some slack. You only need to use the title on official correspondance.

Loved your intro. Dot points, how clever you Scots are.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hehe, If you know the scots well enough, you know that we don't really care for titles much nowadays...too much like the monarchy! :P Thanks for the welcome though...M'Lady   ;)

Why is it I can never meet people like you IRL?

My kind have an irresistible urge to hide in special hidden tunnels underground when strangers approach, it's just a natural instinct I'm afraid. If you ever find yourself in Scotland, I can take you to the great kingdom under the burns...as long as you can pass the "Twelve Trials of Ancients" of course. Don't worry...most of them just involve learning how to do various things while drunk....We do need better entrance prerequisites >.>

That makes it either an epic journey, or a catastrophic waste of time...depends if you have any wizards with you I guess.

Don't need wizards to drink. All journeys are epic, if you allow them to be.

I like your style...but CLEARLY one cannot talk about "epic" without mentioning "Two Steps From Hell" ^^

If my life was a movie, I would have them make the whole soundtrack, making tea never felt so epic!
