So the follow up from my date which was supposed be on Wednesday but ended up being tonight.

It went very well. As it turns out she is recently divorced from her husband and we have both been separated from our spouses since October. We both work in IT and play games like the super nerds that we are. Also I told her that I was transgender. She explained that she is to one extent or another gay. She also explained that my condition didn't put her off in anyway. It was a fabulous experience getting to know someone new and as we shared problems and stories things just seemed to click. Long story short I guess we both feel like people see us damaged goods. But neither of us seems to see the other as such and we are optimists and generally happy. There seemed like such a period of relaxation once we cleared the air about our personal issues that our friends perpetuated as rumors. I really felt like a weight had dropped off of me and her whole posture relaxed in the booth and her smile became seemingly more genuine and interested.

AND we had a great time just talking while sharing a meal and we plan on giving it another go on Wednesday! She asked to give it another go on Wednesday, she did! Excitement, rampant dating paranoia, hope, trying not be on cloud 9 but I am.... Wow.

Okay breather... Breath. I am still looking at this as it will likely be a train wreck. But what the hell right?

The worst thing about the date... I think that I have food poisoning from the sushi... oh man I feel like crap and have been sick as a dog for the last hour. Sick now 3 times in four weeks. 2 colds now this... Ugh!

Thanks for reading my random gibberish here. If you can't tell this is most excited I have ever been while sick as a dog. Usually if I come home worshipping the porcelain throne after a first date I'd chalk that up as a bad dream. This time I'm just happy to be alive and have had the opertunity ;)

Gotta be careful with that sushi, but sounds like everything went pretty well aside for the food poisoning.

Declan.

I'm glad you had such a positive experience. She sounds like a kind soul.

I am so glad things went well and you did get the transgender issue out early. As for things being a train wreck it will not be because of who you are.

Take things slow, also make sure she sees Christine sometime in this early process of the relationship.

I have a good vibe. Lots of luck girl
