Sorry girls if this is in the wrong place but didn't see a category specifically for body enhancements. Just curious if there are any safe alternatives to plump up the butt and hips besides silicone. I know fat is often used but I have almost none so not an option. Thanks!

Jill I like your thinking!   :)

Now if I can just get the carbs to stick in all the right places.

Yes there is. I did it.

Hey there! I was looking into that type of procedures as ever since I started this I feel my shoulders wide combined with narrow hips do not help much in the passing area -though it might be up to debate? Not the point here though- did it help you feel better with your body? Are you satisfied with the results?

PMMA injections are a much safer alternative to silicone but they are much, much more expensive as well. PMMA is meant for lips and cheeks so it comes in small syringes. And you would probably need to travel to South America to get it. And you must trust the clinic where you go, as there have been lots of scams with this product, some say they use PMMA when they actually use silicone.

So far I Am really satisfied with my results. I didn't want a lot extra as I already had small hips. The surgeon did the body contour to give me the hips and a little more of a hour glass figure. Once my swelling goes down next month I'm making a video on it and showing the results. The only bad part was the first four days really sucked because of how uncomfortable you feel. Thank good for the house home care. They knew just where to put the. 8 pillows to make me comfortable

Good luck on the recovery! Oh please do so, am so looking forward to it. Who was thee DR. ? Is it too much to ask roughly how much he charged?

I've heard from many sources around the world that here in my country (Colombia) they have world class surgeons for these procedures but not aimed to MtF patients, so am not sure what to do at the moment. I am really wondering how much those procedures feminize your shape, as with exercice my body made very noticeable changes towards "androginity", hopefully with HRT (and if needed these procedures) it can become definitely female ?

Don't let people discourage you from having the procedure. All the doctors do is move fat from one place to another. Being mtf has nothing to do with anything. I know girls who've had spectacular results. Be sure to do your research and choose a surgeon who'll meet your goals safely. Try going on realself and look at the women who've kept post & pre-opp surgery diaries w/pix. You'll become obsessed with the before and afters like I did...lol

My method is decreasing my waist girth.

I have been curious whether my hips are indeed smaller than GGs, and once tried to compare it.

The left is me, and the right is from a fashion magazine.
At that time, my waist was 26 inch while hip size was 36 inch.
The capris (size 4, the smallest) was rather loose to me, but it fits perfectly with the model (I assumed the model also wears the same size 4).
I thought that my hip is indeed smaller.

Your waist measurement should be at least 9 inches smaller than your bust measurements.

However, based on the above criteria, I have an hourglass shape, despite no boobs.

Ahh barbie you look great... my waist is waaaayyyy smaller than yours :(!
Thanks for the suggestion for realself, I'll look into it.

If I am doing FFS one year into HRT, I understand that would it be recommendable to wait another year for these procedures?

I've had butt augmentation with implants and love it. I had it done here in Canada. Very safe procedure and the results are permanent and amazing. In May I will get the second part, Hip implants with the same surgeon that did my butt implants . He is amazing and very knowledgeable. Never had a problem since the surgery back in November 2013.

there is a much safer method. its body contour and fat transfer. i did it at the end of last year so i would have time to recover before the new season. im going to be posting pics and video soon on my youtube page. i have to say. so far the results seem to be good. im pleased and really happy not have to have anything unnatural added to my body. just moved stuff around.

A member here had those procedures done a couple of years ago.  Her name is Vanna Siamese.  Vanna is an androgynous model.

I'm shaped straight up and down and relatively slim. I have no real defined body shape. This hopefully will change once on hormones. Hips and butt will be good although I'm not optimistic. Will wait and see before I even contemplate surgery!

I am not in transition, but no woman has yet said my hips are meager.
My hip size is about 36 inch, and waist size ranges from 26-28 inch.
Thus 36 - 27 = 9 inch, and my body shape barely falls in an hourglass shape.

I am sure nobody will dare to say my hips are smaller than GGs  ;D
