An user name , well never used one nore will , yet my name is used by every one who knows me that will be in the many 1000's of people who know who i am, not including those on the many forums im on,

birth name is . was noel = no-el  both female and male,  over 20 years ago i was thinking about my name and how it would be more like a female name though i thought just stay with no-el, 10 years ago our Dr had said since your becoming a woman what are we going to call you,  oh dear , well noeleen will do i spos,till i went over to Phuket and a RN = nurse said no it has to be noeleen'e'  oh , okay  thank you,   so every one knows just noeleena . i do have two other names as well they are Prussian

so,     noeleena,    edwina,    Loch-head,  from NZ.

At primary school I was asked my name. I said Cindy, life went downhill from there on. An all male school in the 1960's was not enjoyable for a 'boy' called Cindy.

I know that I am unusual and I am always searching for meaning.  Aisla resonated with me at a number of levels as it is usually associated with a lovely but quite remote island, Eisla Craig off the Scottish coast half way by sea between Belfast and Glasgow.  Currently a bird sanctuary the name is also said to be the anglicisation of the gaelic Aillse meaning fairy; but the tuetonic meaning is good humoured and German meaning is noble.  Once a common name for men it is now regarded as a woman's name.

The English teacher in Azumanga Daioh.

This is for five good reasons:
    1. I was an English student who eventually did become an English teacher (once upon a time)
    2. My pedagogical style was as unorthodox as the character
    3. My driving style has been described as a tad... aggressive?
    4. Despite my protests to the contrary, most friends think my true place is in academia as a professor of History or Literature.
    5. My temper and temperament was also quite similar to the character.

To be perfectly candid though, I find my temperament has mellowed alot as of late. I'm not certain if that is psychological or merely hormonal. I think I'm a bit sweeter... even if a little bit more catty than I used to be.

Heh.  I'm strongly considering Diana as a middle name. 

I'd love to use Jennifer (Note my avatar, Jennifer Walters, She-Hulk) but I have a cousin with the name, and  kinda hate her.

Every forum that I join I use the name "pinkkeith". Keith is the name that I was given at birth. I used the word "pink" before it to show my homosexuality and femininity. Katie is the name I gave myself while in girl mode, so it only made sense to use that name here rather then my birth name.   

I've been feeling very comfortably non-binary recently, so I decided to try the Q on for size. It feels right in a lot of ways.

Q + Gwynne = Qwynne

Hikari (光) is Japanese for light. I picked it for Hikari from Strawberry Panic, who is quiet and devoted. It also has no relation to my chooses or given name.
