eye colour change

Hi there I had read somewhere that oestrogen can affect eye colour .I seem to have discovered this in Myself .Looking in the mirror last night I saw that my usualy Hazel coloured eyes had become lighter with a blue halo around the edges .Has anybody else had a similar experience .I checked with the other half and she confirmed the changes.

I was very suprised myself and it seems to be happening very quickly i can see more change already since last night.I would be very happy if they changed to green like big kim LOL

First time I have heard of this. Can any one else relate?

I highly doubt mine would change. My entire family has dark brown eyes pretty much. That includes me as well.

I had a fairly dark brown myself now they have lost nearly all the brown and at the moment seem to be a sort of bluey grey murky shade LOL

Im not sure if hormones cause an eye color change. Mine changed as I got older. They also change depending on what I'm wearing. Granted, it's not a huge change. But, it goes between a range of dark brown to hazel to green and back.

I honestly hope that's not the case. Since the beginning of this odyssey I have always told my wife, "look into my eyes if you ever doubt if I'm the same person. They are the same eyes of the same person who loves you."

My eyes have changed since I was very young. It totally depends on my mood, or health. I swing from Blue to green, and somewhere In between. My I'd says they are Hazel, the license place asked if I was wearing contacts because when put Hazel, they were blue. Also I know when I am turned on they are blue... Idk had it all my life I suppose it could be related to hormones, but I think it's more a mood thing.

I have been on HRT fro 8 months and been eating super healthy with probiotics and insoluble fiber at almost each meal. My base eye color was light green (outer) and light brown (inner) now I have very green and brown and when I shine a white light on my eye see a lot of blue. I never had blue in my eyes in the past. Although, I never shined a white light in my eyes either.

My eye colour changes on a daily basis between light grey, light blue and pale green.
I'm interested to see now how they might change when I begin HRT

How bizarre, I just checked and my blue eyes look, almost grey now....But I am not sure if it is HRT or changes in diet, aging, etc. Apparently I don't look into my own eyes very often.

OK, I just looked and my life long blue eyes now have a green halo around them! Way cool. Thanks for the topic as I never thought about it before.
