All because I didn't wanna shop in the girls section she says I need to get over my idenity crisis and basically because I don't have the correct package or build that I can't be over there, And what stung like a bitch is the fact that she said she wants a boy when she gets marroed because she has two girls, It hurt me so bad, I wish she never met my dad or had me really, I'm so pissed right know its hard to see my life actually getting better....

Those people are hardly your family. It's not the only family you'll ever have. Things will get better. As soon as you graduate, go to a college outside the state, stay in the dorm until you have a job and can rent an apartment with roommates, and begin your new life. That's the quickest way to get out of that situation.

Of course you can shop male clothes no matter your build , males come in all shape and sizes ... your mom should know that

btw I also have heard my mom saying she d like to have a daughter , when I first talked to her about that wish she said that she didnt meant it like that XD

I know things can get bad , reaaally bad , but if you close your eyes and dream of a better future then for some reason you just cant give up until that future comes...

Its just to hard to believe anymore like everything else in my life everybody is always saying it will get better, I laugh at it because it just doesn't seem possible at all no matter how many times you say it.

You're a teenager. Almost every teenager feels that way. I did. Being an adult is so much greater than I'd ever dreamed it would be. There's nothing like doing what you want, when you want without having to answer to anybody (well, except the law). Hang in there.

My dad used to say some real nasty stuff like that, too. I lost almost all of my family when I came out and began to transition medically, and sometimes it still stings, but I'm also happier without them. I tried to leave the door open for them and be supportive, but I was an adult and needed to take care of myself. While sometimes I envy people who have their families and their support, I just accept that mine turned out the way they did and that things are more peaceful without their judgement and hatred in my life.

While it's hard to cut toxic people out of your life, especially when you're older and in that awkward place between being a teenager and an adult, you'll find that you feel more confident and normal when you don't have them telling you awful things and putting you down. Just something to think about.

Yeah you will be 18 soon. But remember , if you stay with your parents for a extra year and save money you can afford surgery a lot faster. That assuming your not going to college. If your going to college you can use student aide for surgery and in a way stick it to your parents

hey man, I was pretty messed up in high school too. My family were dicks to me. They eventually got over it and started being supportive. It sounds like you're pretty depressed. You might want to consider anti depressants until you can get your life together. Also try to find someone you can unload this BS on like for me it was the school social worker, awesome lady. Keeping it inside isn't good and writing it here isn't bad but real life humans tend to be better. If your ever in NY we should chat I just finished what your going through now.

Sorry you're having to deal with this but heres a couple of tips that might help...

When I was a minor and used to shop with my parents for clothes, I didn't even know the word trans existed or what it was. I knew I was a boy but my parents blew it off telling me it was just me not comfortable with the changes of puberty so I assumed they were right. I wanted to wear boys cloths and at first I dealt with the same thing you say above. However, I did find a way to get past it. This may or may not work for your situation depending on your build but I had larger arms and shoulders so I told my parent that the womens clothes were too tight in the arms and shoulders (which was true) and to get ones that fit right I had to get them XXL or larger though I was flat chested so that are was HUGE on me at even a Large. As far as pants went, I was always taller 5'7" and had small hips womens pants were too short for me, I again had to go XL or larger just to get the right length and then here was so much material hanging in the hip area it didnt look right.

So every time I had to shop with them I would bring up that I couldn't find cloths to fight right for those reasons so I found some pretty gender neutral cloths in the mens section that we could both agree on.

Good luck!

All I can say is hang in there. Just remembering shopping with my mom makes me pissed. Now I am no longer a kid and things are much better. Just wear the manliest clothes you can find. Maybe go thrifting? Girls do that and it's cheap lol.

get yourself a part time job if you don't have one and then buy your own clothes, my mom couldn't complain or stop me, when it was my money being used to buy it
