WELL went to see my endo, coolest chick ever. got me on a perscriptio for generic injectable T and took my blood and I get my prescription tomorrow. take it back to her office to get a tutorial on self injection from the doc and then im on T officially.

WOW this is quite a moment, didn't expect it to happen so fast.

plus she said for AZ changing gender markers on stuff is pretty easy. she just writes a letter tot eh DMV and they can get that changed and the passport thing too. i don't even need SRS to get those changed which is hella. for a republican state i guess we're pretty lenient about stuff...idk im not familiar with legal crap.

ANYWAY yeah exciting week for me!!!

Congrats man!
I live in AZ too. It was super quick. I just had to sign a consent form and I got T from a doctor who specializes in trans health. The marker is really easy too, you just need the letter and you take it to the DMV (although the DMV people caused a heck of a lot of trouble for me...I could sense they did it on purpose. It took me 3 trips to finally do it. They'd come up with nonsense such as "this signature can't be digital only written by hand" and stuff like that. Eventually I forced them to accept it because I told them how ridiculous this all is). You can also change your gender on social security the same exact way, with just a letter.

The name change part (not sure if you changed it yet) is $300 in Phoenix (if you haven't had one yet)

If you need more info on anything, you can message me anytime. I'm a pro by now with how to go about this process in AZ :P

Bearguy@ oh awesome, glad to know I can get all that done simply. I was expecting the name change to be decently pricey. HA, I don't think I've ever had a positive experience with the DMV no matter what the deal was, it's just a hassle. but I'll get it all eventually. I'll definitely ask if i got questions.

Congrats man! Finally starting T is such a relief.

Who knew changing gender marker and stuff was easier in AZ than CA?? I have to go through the courthouse and pay the ridiculous $435 fine, YUCK. Good luck!
