Monkeymel

Since I'm new here I thought I should follow etiquette and make a quick introduction post from my second home - Starbucks. Well not really but it feels like that sometimes.

I'm living and working near Zurich, Switzerland and after years of procrastination, I finally transitioned in August 2013. I've been incredibly lucky to be supported by family, friends and work. Now looking at getting my SRS with Dr Chettawut in 2014.

Personal I love running, fitness (better not overdo testosterone), travel and life. Professionally I work in medical devices for rehabilitation therapy. Monkeymel came about because I bought a monkey yoga swing to help improve my flexibility for dance...

I also tend to be a private person so for now - that's a little snapshot of me!

A  big warm welcome to the family baby! This is a very safe place to be as our moderators do an excellent job of keeping us safe and peace in the family. Don't worry about the shy part though as we have the habit of breaking that cycle around here.*giggles* Feel free to rant, vent, learn, share good news and have a little fun and distraction while you are here. You will find in a little while with us we are a real family. I have formed bonds with the others here I never see breaking and we talk almost every day. My brothers and sisters here know more about what is going on with me than my real life family. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on we have those as well and you can PM any of us at any time for whatever it is you need. Here is a BIG HUG ( :icon_hug:) to welcome you and make you feel right at home. :)

Willkommen & bienvenue :)
Yeah, I'm a coffee fan too and although I am no stranger to Starbucks, mostly I make it at home. I'm sipping a lovely homebrew dark roast (French press) right now :)
So, my dear, you have just entered a lovely virtual community here, full of REAL people who will share your ups and downs, listen to your concerns, help you with real life experience, and give you a little more to smile about :D
Happy to hear that you are well established on course.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
