I might.  But if I do, then being "at the conference" may once against consist of going to see Valley Forge and other sites about 80% of the time like last year. :)

I was there in 2005 and enjoyed the workshops. Just wish i could make more of them over the years but seems life takes over at some point.

It is well worth stopping by if you can.

I'm planning to go, at this point anyway. I went last year. Lots of fun and all together a very affirming experience.

I have been invited to present a workshop at PTHC but never went. I'm not planning. On going this year either.

I live in Philly, so it's just a short drive to Centre City for me.

I expect to be at all the 12-Step meetings again  -  hopefully with some literature from a few fellowships.

Cya there,

Tessa

Edit:  Oops.  Wrong forum area.  Sorry guys.  This is what I get for trying to post things from my phone ...  /sigh

It would be fun to go but that's another expense and travel.

Funnily enough usually my mom actually ends up going with some of her friends with trans-sons.  I'm usually working or out of town.  Now they've moved though.  It may coincide with my trip back up to Philly.. even so I may not end up attending if I am in town.

Is it really that exciting?  I never pictured it being a must-attend kind of event.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Yeah it's an amazing experience. You are surrounded by thousands of trans people and everybody has gone thru similar types of struggles. I met LOTS of people and had some very cool experiences.

I'll definitely have to check it out if I'm around the area then.  Funnily enough its put on (sponsored? hosted?) by the health center I go to.  They're good people there.

It is not only or even primarily about "health" except in the most broad sense (there are daily sessions-- like 12 step, yoga, NA healing, and so on) but the sessions cover just about everything, but I think the best thing is not the sessions but the kinds of connections you make.
