I had a meeting with my supervisor today. I thought that I better tell her about going on HRT soon. She was totally okay with it. That was pretty tough to do and I'm glad it is over with and it turned out so well.

Congrats! I know that is a load off of your mind. She sounds supportive. Are you breathing a little easier tonight? Enjoy the ride girl!

Yes, that must have been tough to do.  Glad you were able to do it and that it worked out  well.

So you told your supervisor before you started HRT? I am thinking about telling my manager soon. I am 5+ months on HRT and probably about six months away from being ready to go full-time. Things are going so well at work and she has been telling me what an asset I am to the team, I'm almost afraid to rock the boat! Then again, there would be advantage to me pulling the trigger now while I'm riding a high tide. I also need to talk to her about possible splitting time between our home office and another one six hours away, which is closer to my girlfriend's ailing parents.

Kudos to you and be sure to keep us posted!

I felt like I had to tell my supervisor when I did. I've been really depressed lately and my SSRI wasn't helping me at all. So, I was taking time off work and getting further behind. I had to tell her what was going on so that she didn't think I was slacking off. Luckily she understood!

Ah. That makes sense. I'm glad she understood. That's great :-) .
