There was a UK sitcom in the 70s called Are You Being Served. One of the characters was an older lady called Mrs Slocumb who was always talking about her pussy, which of course was her cat. The lines were scripted in a way that made it very ambiguous.

Another great example is the theme song for the Flintsones - they'll have 'a gay old time...'

  There were some words that changed their meaning, but reverted back to their old meaning.  In the '80s and 90's the word "bad" meant "good" when said a certain way.  Like "Your preformance was really baaddd!"  In the late 1990's that disappeared when things got really economically bad such as; the Dotcom breakup, Enron and the 9-11 event. 
  Then there's the English suet pudding with bits of berries in it called "Spotted Dick". This has been around awile, but lately there are folks that are changing the name to "Spotted Richard" due to the immature reaction of the name.  This may backfire though.  "Richard" may have a new connotation as in the effects of the HRT on the "woody".  I have called mine "Little Richard" because of the effects.  Woooo!
