Okay, so I've been researching it for the past hour and have found some pretty good info on the procedure but some info is just hard to find or I just want some other opinions.

One thing that's really been tough to get information on are the surgeons in my area. I've been trying to look up surgeons who perform FTM surgeries in New York (preferably the Western NY area) but no luck. Anyone have any info on some surgeons in the state?

Also, I'm wondering if any surgeons perform bottom surgery on people under-18? I'm not going to say my exact age here but the dysphoria is getting worse and worse every day and if I can get it in maybe 2-3 years that'd be great.

Finally, I'm wondering if phallo is really worth it? I've read that meta is less expensive, less chance of complications, shorter recovery time etc., etc.. Is it truly worth spending the money,
and going through  the stages and the long recovery period? I have seen better results from phallo than of meta so I'm assuming so.. but would like your guys' opinions.

Phallo under 18 would require parents consent and a battle to get a doc to do it. You would either way, likely end up over 18 first. As for local docs, It seems hard to find  local to be even in the states, much less any one state. For meta you can but phallo seems to be done a lot less often.

Doctors in the state? Probably not. There are a couple top surgeons who are really expensive and some who only take insurance. If you're in western ny, there's medalie in ohio. You can also get your hysto here, there's plenty of trans friendly gynos in the area. I had mine in rochester.
As for bottom surgery under 18, it's possible but incredibly difficult and they probably wont be able to find somone who will do it unless you're really close to 18. I had mine just a month before I turned 18 and it was crazy trying to schedule.

Is phallo worth it? For me, definitely. It really depends on your needs.

We live in the same aera. There are some obgyns in NY that would do hysto on ftm, but I have never heard of surgeons who can do phalloplasty here. My parents are taking me to Serbia for lower surgery.

I would have to say your closest surgeon that does Phallo would be Dr. Brassard in Montreal. Dr. McGinn is in Phila along with Dr. Sherman Leis.
Hope it helps. Getting paperwork hormones and RLT will take up at least a year. Most of the doctors what 2 to 3 years on hrt so that you get some natural growth to use.

Phallo is like a 3 stage process. Long healing, many scar areas. Lots of money.

Lots of luck on your path in life. I wish you the best in what every you do.

Ah, that sucks. I heard there's a top surgeon in Rochester I'm pretty sure, so that's do able. I'll have to look into Dr. Brassard or McGinn. Philly isn't that far away.
