Years has passed
I did't know the other person, alas
That was forming inside of me
Like the werewolf, there was another me.

The old one was fighting to stay
The new one to see the light of day
My spirit was being torn
A new person was born.

Can't hide anymore
Now I know the score
Deny! Deny! I cry
But I sigh and ask why?

Then I say I am
That was the plan
A half century plus six
Now I pick up the sticks

It is a new me
My life now a symphony
It didn't take forever
Better late than never.
Be who you are.
