First Day on HRT

Just got back from the clinic and I have my Climara and Finasteride. It all seemed kind of anti-climatic. I thought I'd be more emotional, but I wasn't. Now just comes the hard part of waiting for the changes to start developing.

Give it a few days, hon. The estradiol hits the brain pretty quickly and as the levels increase, you will know it.

Please take photos of your progress from month to month with similar lighting conditions. Also learn the proper way to measure for a bra. You might take measurements of your body parts so you can be objective about physical changes. Congratulations!

I so dislike taking pictures of myself. I just dislike the way I look, but I'm hoping that starting HRT will change my own body image.

i think i have a total of 500 pictures taken of myself up until i started hrt, and after i started seeing changes which was at about month 5 till now month 7 i have taken over 800 photos of myself, 28 years vs 2 months, im starting to love whom i am becoming

Welcome Katie, I hope estrogen makes you feel as happy as I am on it. Also as a tip, once your nipples start becomming tender you'll want to clothes shop with either a bralette, sports bra, or cami so that the clothes aren't constantly rubbing up and down on them. Trust me, I found this out the hard way.

This has happened to me as well. I believe that when you're happy with your self it shows through and others around seem to recipricate that happiness ^^
