Due to financial strain, I couldn't afford to have my required tests run and went roughly 6 and 1/2 weeks without HRT of any kind.
That sucked, but I went in this week and had my bloodwork done and started back.

I am confused my test results: my T went up to the highest level ever recorded at 593.  I expected a rebound but not that high (my pre-HRT level was 478 and my last was 272.

My E also climbed, too, though...it was 76 from a start-point of 49 and last test of 53.

Anyone have any idea why my E would have continued to climb (not that I'm complaining...)

Estrogen can be stored in fat cells.  You likely were secreting estrogen from them when you were off HRT.

T converts to E so that more T will also result in slightly more E.

had you taken any E before having the bloodwork done?

Also if you took the new test at a different time of day that could explain your T

This conversion happens in fat cells.  So, if you have enough of them, your test results are perfectly logical.  Me having plenty of fat cells had a total E (E1 and E2) of 214 and T of 315 for a starting point (if I get started).
