To put it briefly, I tend to get really sensitive, self-conscious, irritable, depressed, emotional, moody, increased anxiety, and etc the week of or right before a shot. My total outlook and attitude on life just completely shifts. Anyone else have a problem with this? How can I deal with these things? It's seriously detrimental to me and the people I care about..

I would suggest you speak to your doctor.  It may be that you need to change the frequency of your injections.

I have similar issues before my shot is due.  Not so much to the degree you're describing, but it seems that it could be attributed to dropping T levels and increasing E levels.

Yeah, I'm on a 3 week cycle so that could be it. I'm 10 months in and only started noticing this pattern just recently. Could it be that my body has adjusted to the cycle?

It is pretty common to be on a 2 week cycle instead of 3. Ask your doc about changing the timing and you should see less of a problem.

As LordKAT says, a two week cycle is fairly common, it's quite possible the three week cycle is the problem. Some things to consider:

Some guys do a one week cycle (dosage adjusted accordingly) as they find it helps minimize problems that can occur with changing T levels.
Subcutaneous injections instead of intramuscular supposedly may absorb more steadily and help reduce issues with peaks/lows as well.
Some combine the two and do a weekly subcutaneous injection (or maybe that is the norm for subcutaneous, pardon if this was redundant).

The exact same thing happens to me. I am on a different kind of shot which I get every 16 weeks. I beg, every time, for it to be moved to 14 weeks. At that point I can feel my levels dropping off and I become moody and my energy levels plummet. I also get a bloated feeling which feels like an incoming shark week which I obviously REALLY don't like. My docs completely refuse to move my shots closer together, it's so annoying, they seem to think I'm just making it up because I want faster changes but it really isn't about that. Hopefully your doc is more understanding!

Wow...where's the trust?  That seems pretty shameful IMHO.  Sorry to hear that, mate.

I don't know your situation, and this might be an unreasonable suggestion, but have you considered searching for a more understanding doctor? Doctors should be working with you to find the dosage where you feel comfortable in your body. It sounds frustrating to deal with someone who doesnt respect the problems you're having.
