Sadly I have been forced to delete all my posts due to my wife using them as a weapon against me in conflicts during our difficult separation. I will still be around on the site and available for private messages.

Without knowing your situatio, I'd venture that for you, right now, looking the part is the best way you feel you can get closest . You sound happy with what you see, so nothing wrong with that. You don't srem distracted, you seem focused.

I do the same thing. I have only dressed like 10 times in my life and it's just amazing to see a woman staring back at me when I look in the mirror. I'm sure it will fade away once I come further along in my transition but right now I can't help but look in the mirror and smile when I'm in girl mode.

As someone who has never cared about their appearance, but who's seen my mum regularly take three hours to put on make-up and do her hair, I'd say it's just completely normal lol. A lot of people want to look their best, and especially women in the sense that they have hair and make-up and etc. to think about. If it's not bad for you, don't worry about it :)

Totally normal! You are a woman! ;) I actually went out and bought mirrors for the first time in my life. ;D

I'm sure I will do in the future. Right now I can't stand looking in the mirror. But that's only because I don't like what I see, for now at least.

Worry when you start walking around staring into a compact.
