No, on the contrary I was always elated and rather euphoric the first weeks after starting HRT.

Are you sure you are not getting sick?  I tend to get the flu during the summer.  It could also be the intense heat (102 degrees?) Hope you feel better. :)

Early on, it takes a while for the body to get used to lower T, also, if your using spiro, you also get a lower blood pressure, which also saps energy. E also leads to lower levels of hemoglobin, which also takes a while to get used to.

My wife was on HRT for 9 months... and for the time that I knew her during that period, she had very little energy, had difficulty thinking, and was overly emotional (yes, even in comparison with GGs). She went off the HRT, and the changes have been extraordinary. She gets out of bed ready to face the day, has more energy than ever, and can handle her emotions. I don't know... just sharing I suppose.

Like Keira said, spiro will drop your blood pressure, so you may end feeling "winded" much sooner than before. And beware of standing up too quickly, or you may find yourself feeling like you're about to faint. Consider picking up a home Blood Pressure Testing kit and keep an eye on things.

I got over the fainting feeling after a few weeks, but I still don't have anywhere near the endurance I used to.

"Is life worth living? It depends on the liver!"

i know i keep going on about this, so, sorry. but oral estrogens can play havoc with your liver. have you tried dissolving them under your tongue? it may help.

please proceed with caution.

i have a kinda achey feeling, i barely have the strength to carry my bookbag across the parking lot, and my appetite is like nil.

YES! On the second week I felt like I had the flu and I slept for two days. After that I was really dragging. I thought it may have been the Sprio but I kept it at the same dosage anyway.  Now, (about a month and 1/2 later) I am starting to feel good again.

I get into thi PMS kind of feeling sometimes.  I cry for a few days, feel irritated, crave sweets and feel a sensation of warmth on my face.  Amusing that only happens every month.  Alas my PMS definition.
