Tried dying my hair with some temporary la riche stuff, I was going for two strands at the front in lavender and two just behind in cerise, but couldn't seem to get it to hold, just washed straight out, maybe I should get their shampoo next time. The cerise seemed to hold better then the lavender though, I ended up doing all my hair in it out of frustration.

I don't like how fizzy my hair has become after dying it, is this normal?

I would stick with hair color that has a conditioner with it. Hair dye can cause chaos. I would try a moisture therapy shampoo and conditioner. I use one and am very happy with it.
