First of all i am really sorry if this feels a bit like over-sharing, but i am at a bit of a quandry atm. When i started on HRT, i noticed that I produced less ejaculate fluid and orgasms became pretty intense. It was incredible and i have a feeling that my prostate was somehow being stimulated as well. A year down the line, i have no ejaculate and whilst i do get some sensation during masturbation, when it comes to the orgasm it really has all but vanished :S. I masturbate more as a release every month or two as opposed to pleasure - mainly because it hurts a little - but i'm more than a little perturbed that there no longer is a climax. I sometimes wonder during masturbation if i reached climax or whether to carry on. Anyone else noticed this?

For me, estrogen brought about a "female style" orgasm that was felt as a tingle throughout my whole body. The "male style" squirt slowly subsided. Before I started spiro, I was experiencing both. I'd get the squirt and the female rush.

How are your E-levels? Is it possible there is not enough estrogen in your body to produce the female effect?
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I'm on quite a high dose of E and Progesterone, so levels should be fine. It could be that since i use it so infrequently that the sensation has subsided. I'll see how it goes in a few weeks time.

Stimulate yourself in a more feminine manner... increase the build-up time, get more of your body into it, and find a way to use lots of mildly-pleasurable repetitive motions to get yourself closer.

Doing it the male way is what's causing the weak orgasms. And yes, I've experienced this too. When doing it the male way now, there's basically nothing. I wonder if it even counts as an orgasm. But when I get in the tub, spend some time really getting into it, letting my mind go, just enjoying it, and working at it for like half an hour before finally going in for the big O, it is freaking AMAZING!!!

There is another topic similar to this one, there you might find more answers :)

My "male" orgasms are pretty much dead now. I didn't know this was going to happen. I tought I was only getting a reduction on the volume of ejavulate and less spontaneous erections... but I was greatly mistaken. I can get erections if I want, but if I try reaching orgasm on a masculline traditional way I can't get there anymore. I feel something, but it is perhaps 10% of what it was before.

But, on the other hand  ;D

I am discovering how to get there on a feminine way and it is completely different of the masculine way. Better? I think so! I couldn't reach a complete feminine orgasm yet, but now it evolves touching and caressing everywhere and it demands time and a lot more of mental concentration. It's impossible to describe the feeling when you are getting close!

I don't believe I've ever had many issues with "male" orgasms. Whatever they and whatever "female" orgasms are. But can orgasms really be classified by a gender? Why not call them type X and type Z? I'm quite sure genetic women have "male" orgasms too. Even after being on cyproterone acetate for 19 years, I never had a big issue climaxing. Now post-op, although it takes a bit longer, I still climax in a way reminiscent of my pre-op state. I don't know, maybe I was always having "female" orgasms. Or maybe I need to feel more womanlike to get these "female" orgasms. All this talk of gendering orgasms is making me feel inferior.

You mean your Dr. didn't tell you this when HRT was prescribed?

Indeed she didn't. She told me about the erections and about getting sterile, but she didn't mentioned the orgasm dying part, nor I asked about it. It wasn't (and isn't) something that would make me regret HRT. Actually I thank a lot HRT for stopping my spontaneous erections and reducing my libido! That was driving me mad! And since I am trading one kind of orgasm for another, no harm was made!

What we think about when we close our eyes has a lot to do with it too.
"Peace came upon me and it leaves me weak,
So sleep, silent angel, go to sleep."
