There will always be someone who won't like your hair and try to distract you from their own shortcomings. Don't let it bother you.

Don't let that lack of understanding of what non-binary is and the less than stellar comments of who you will look like, when it comes to androgynous looks, stop you from being who you want to be.

Who you are and how you feel about your looks is your business.
It's true, there will be those who lack the understanding of non-binary, but don't let their insecurities in expression and gender roles stop you from being the best you can be.
It's sad that many binaries have expressions that are not much more than roles.
Non-Binaries aren't generally restricted in those ways.
Which I take is how
you want to present. Be the expression you want the world to see. It's an extension of who you are.
More and more of society is becoming more acceptable with androgynous looks and non-binary genders everyday.
Androgynous has been a staple of fashion for many years and it will continue to do so.
Be your identity. Be yourself. There are no rules when it comes to style and expression for non-binary people.
I see people with basically that length of hair and done up in various ways, all of which look good, some more androgynous than others.
It's a good length to have some fun with. Grow it out and be creative.
